  • Perfect House for a group

"This house was absolutely perfect. There were 7 adults in our group and felt that there was ample room in the house. There are 2 other homes on the property as well. We rarely saw the guests in either home. It felt very secluded. All bedrooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets on the beds. We opted to leave all the doors and windows open so we could feel the breezes. It was so pleasant. They provide bug spray and we used it to prevent bug bites. Some of us did get bites but they were not reapplying the spray. The house has many seating areas for you to socialize or lounge and several hammocks as well. The pool temperature was perfect and overlooks the ocean. Pool rafts too! We felt extremely safe with the gated house and guards. We left the house wide open all day and night. We did lock our bedrooms if we left for long periods of time. The staff are amazing and will assist you as little or as much as needed. Rosa and Pearl will cook for you anytime you like. We had the Shrimp Marsala and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. They have a pizza oven and one night all guests gathered for dinner. It was nice to get to meet new people. We had the pleasure of meeting Bruce and Nicky (the owners). They are very kind and fun couple! The wifi is free and works great! We got to use a 7 passenger van for the week and felt completely comfortable driving to various destinations. Fausto will help with any house needs such as taking garbage or placing the kayaks in the water. There are many snorkel gear sets and over 5 kayaks. You can walk down to the pier and Fausto will take care of the supplies. We took a boat trip and Hanford was our Captain. He was friendly and informative. He took us to Jade beach for snorkeling and to La Serina for lunch. One day he dropped the woman off at Paya Beach Resort while the men went fishing. Paya Beach Resort is for Naturists so you need to be screened before you can pay for a day pass $5. Even though we are not Naturists, we got the green light and we were able to enjoy the beautiful property for a few hours. We spent an afternoon at Havana beach which had no tourists, only locals. It was breathtaking. We had our driver take us to West Bay Beach for an afternoon. We soaked in the sun and had some lunch at a local restaurant with live music. We then hopped in a $3 water taxi to West End for dinner. A perfect property for a perfect vacation! Thanks Phil for everything!!"

  • Tranquil and Beautiful

"Your first impression of this property is through the owner, Susan. She is so willing to help you with ideas for restaurants, info about things to do on the island, etc. She was wonderful and so informative! It helped us so much before we even arrived there. The condo has a great location on the bottom floor (especially for those who do not like to climb stairs). It is also close to the pool but far enough away from the pool festivities and entertainment that you can enjoy peaceful surroundings when you desire. Then when you want to "party on" you don't have far to go. The condo was decorated so nicely with an island "flavor" and the kitchen is great if you just want to cook and eat inside. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. Mornings were my very favorite when no one is around and you have this clear, cool, beautiful turquoise water to slip into. You can also go for walks along the beach to check out all the restaurants (there are many to choose from) and of course the snorkeling is unbelievable!!!!! We didn't take the opportunity but we spoke to some people who did a night dive and said it was absolutely amazing!!!! Squid, octopus, lobsters, rays etc. My husband was especially thrilled to see that we still have some thriving coral reefs with beautiful colors and lots of life in them. The golden brain coral, purple fans, angel fish, parrot fish, etc. will truly open your eyes to a whole new whole below the water. The staff at Infinity Bay were wonderful and definitely willing to do anything to help make your stay a pleasant one. There is a nice bar by the pool as well as great outdoor restaurant where the pizza and Mai Tai's are great and the breakfast omelets, pineapple and papaya delicious! The area Is very family friendly with lots of things for the children to do. We had the enjoyment of watching our grandchildren participate in the dolphin encounter at Anthony's Key, ziplining, fishing, feed parrots at one of the local restaurants, and enjoy the iguana farm. We all came back with great photos and wonderful memories!"

  • Great Place!

"This is a really cool place. To have such a view on Sandy Bay....just wonderful! The dock out back is unique and huge and in fact we spent one day just hanging out there drinking and chatting, taking advantage of the hammocks, snorkeling and kayaks. Plenty of shade, so don't think you have to be exposed, but if you want sun, there's a sun deck with a table, chairs and ottomans. Loved it! The reef is just a few hundred feet off the end of the dock, so take a kayak out there. Really, you could swim to the reef if you wanted to - the water salinity is high enough that you don't sink! Talk about effortless snorkeling! Just beautiful! The house is well cared for and it's apparent - there's fresh paint everywhere. The kitchen, on the 2nd floor, is beautiful and large, with filtered water served from the fridge door and there's a generous walk-in pantry. The billiards table appears to be regulation size & in great shape. The balconies off the 2nd and 3rd floors are as wide as the house and the one on the 3rd floor is right off the Master bedroom (and is covered). Wonderful breezes! Air conditioners are there if you need them, but if you open the windows you shouldn't. The location is only a short $6 cab ride to the West End, where there are lots of great restaurants & little shops & diving businesses. From there you can go to West Bay Beach (take a water taxi!) and spend the day at a FANTASTIC beach, with white sand, crystal clear warm water and beach bars. (Hang out at Bananarama - free chairs if you buy food or drinks at the bar!) We really miss this place. It has ruined us for beach fun here on the East coast - nothing really can compare. We'll be back!"

  • Perfect!

"We had the pleasure of staying for two weeks in St. Mac's Upper unit. Right from the first contact, the owners were wonderful to deal with and always quick to respond to any of my emails. We are a family of five so the bedrooms and layouts were perfect for us. The main living area/kitchen/dining room is huge and the entire unit is very well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need and the blender makes fabulous margaritas! We spent many hours out on the large deck. It was a perfect location, including your very own private beach to enjoy with lots of shade. West Bay was really busy for the first week we were there because of Semana Santa and we felt blessed to enjoy our quiet portion of the beach. The maid and laundry service was exceptional and very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend St. Mac's to all of my friends and family. We hope to enjoy it again very soon!"
