  • Wonderful!

"We just returned from a wonderful week at the Pink Orchid. The entire week was as good as we could ever wish....the house was well equipped and so comfortable, the location awesome, and of course the dock and water were AWESOME!!!! We felt welcomed and well informed by the owners and property manager and thoroughly enjoyed the people recommended for fishing and snorkel trips. Reagan and Marty were awesome! We rented cars to do some adventuring, get to restaurants and to play golf, as well as to get to the grocery stores which were were convenient and easy. We definitely hope to return to this area again and would love to stay at the Pink Orchid!"

  • Interesting house!

"My family of 12 just returned from Pirates View. Overall the house was ok. It is located on a dirt road in a neighborhood. This is not clear in the description. The beach was not really where we would want to hang out. The neighbors car was actually parked on it. The plunge pool is much smaller than it appears in the picture. The dock was ok but in need of some repair. The water this time of year was brown for about 50 yards from the beach due to a stream running in with rainwater. We went to West Bay to use the beach, about a 20 min drive. We had the upstairs house and downstairs condo. The condo downstairs has quite a strong musty smell. We hired a chef for the week which made the experience manageable. Grocery shopping is a 10 min drive as well as most restaurants. With 12 of us I was happy we had the chef. Overall it was good but remember Roatan IS A DEVELOPING Island."

  • Amazing stay at Villa Tranquila

"My husband, myself, and our two girls, ages 3 and 6, had a wonderful stay at Villa Tranquila in Roatan. I will start off by saying how beautiful Roatan is. The people are extremely friendly and the water is truly unbelievable. We have been to many islands and the water in Roatan is truly spectacular. Villa Tranquila is located in West End, a cute little town full of great restaurants and shops. Everything is within walking distance from the Villa. The town has a very local feel to it and is not touristy at all, which we loved. The beaches in West End are good, but if you want to see the clearest water you can imagine, you have to go to West Bay, which is only about 5 minutes away on a water taxi. Definitely worth the trip. Since we had two small kids with us, it was definitely easier to just stay in West End. We found an amazing beach just steps from the Villa. It is located at the Buccuneer restaurant. They clean the beach each morning, they provide chairs and umbrellas, and even nice large beds, and all you have to do is order a drink once in a while. We ordered the most delicious smoothies for the girls for $2 each. Also ordered them lunch for $5. Most of the time, we had the beach all to ourselves. Water is very clear, warm, and shallow. There is also a dock, which is fun. Literally the perfect place. When we were done with the beach, we would walk back to the Villa and take a dip in the huge pool located right outside the condo. Most of the time, we were the only ones at the pool as well. More about the condo: the Villa comes with everything you can possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked - pots, pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, all dishes, all utensils, can opener, cheese grater, etc. Basically anything you would have at home, is there. Lots of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, etc. You do not need to buy anything else, just food. We stopped at a grocery store on the way from the airport and bought food. We used the kitchen every morning to make breakfast. Very convenient. In addition, there was a fruit/veggie truck that came right by the Villa with fresh fruit and veggies. The watermelon, bananas, apples, green peppers, were all so delicious and fragrant. We were also able to buy some fresh caught red snapper from some locals for very cheap and grilled the fish on the grill at the condo. I would recommend this condo to anyone who enjoys having the conveniences of home and who loves having a pool and beach to themselves."

  • Add Infinity Bay Resort to your bucket list, it's an Amazing Vacation

"Roatan and Infinity Bay Resort located on the beautiful West Bay beach, it's was so green and just makes for such an the best vacation. The service at the front desk was exceptional with any requests and Susan was very helpful and responds quickly. We ate at some really good restaurants, they're all spelled out on trip advisor, our favourite was the Hangover Hut... Must eat there (best burger and fries I've ever had) rented a car from the little strip mall in West Bay and went to Eldons in Coxen Hole for groceries. The brands are all american brands we recognize in USA and Canada. We picked up the best tasting fresh produce and fruit from the fruit truck that stops at Infinity Bay and frequents West Bay daily.. ( just talk to the guard at infinity bay) Everyone in West Bay and Infinity Bay Resort were so friendly and nice, communication was a breeze as everyone speaks english, the beach and the water is beautiful, they have a couple floaty chairs, therefore you can float in the pool and look over the edge of the pool and look out at the ocean. The condo on the main floor, very handy and the building is back far enough from the bar and pool it's quite. It's also very safe in West Bay, we walked the beaches and town in the evening no problem. I highly recommend staying at Susan's condo at West Bay Resort, it'll create memories that will last a lifetime. We'll be back."
