  • great vacation rental

"We arrived at the Roatan airport and we were met by John. He took us to our rental apartment, We were impressed with the location of this property. We were within 50 yards of the sea and only a couple of 100 yards swim to the reef. after some time to settle in John drove us to the grocery store to stock up on local food and he also took us to a local fish market where we were able to purchase langousta, lion fish and barracuda. All the fish was fresh and tasted delicious. John and Sue were fantastic hosts, they took care of fresh linens and supplied coffee. Ronald (Johns sidekick) was fantastic he took us fishing and snorkeling he cleaned our fish and took care of any requests we made. We have travel a lot and this is a trip we will never forget. Thanks John and Sue and Ronald."

  • Perfect condo at a great property

"About the condo: great size, well stocked, comfy bed. Being in the back of the property didn't bother us one bit, on the contrary: it was always quiet at night. Having the fridge and kitchen was great, we got supplies from the west bay market (one min walk) and made great sandwiches with meats from their deli (they slice it fresh for you, plenty of choices of meats and cheeses, lovely people) About Infinity: phenomenal staff, always ready to make your day a memorable one. Ziggy at the bar deserves a special mention, as well as his Monkey la las. Swiss Chocolate is always smiling, a pleasure to hang out with. Cold beer, great pool, amazing beach and snorkeling. The nachos are plentiful, the fish and chips are great and the fish tacos are really good! About the experience: the beach is lined with restaurants/bars, we would go for a walk for dinner and had some good food! Bananarama's Thirsty Turtle makes great drinks, calzones and curry. And don't miss movie night at the beach on Tuesdays! During the day, we would stay at our beach chair and had chicken empanadas from the guy that sells at the beach. Luis comes around a couple times a day, it's great value and honest food. Also loved the kid who sells fresh diced fruit (in a pack with a disposable fork), $1 gets you a mix of watermelon, pineapple and cantaloupe. Don't miss it. My husband got certified to dive in West End, and the water taxi being in front of the property was great. The same boat waited for him every day, it worked for both parties. West End is cool and worth a quick visit, but there is no doubt that the best place to stay is West Bay! We had a blast."

  • This place was perfect for us.

"It is on what almost seems like a private beach and has a great view of the water and is clean, shady, comfortable and a short walk to resorts, restaurants and access to activities without the hassle of being on a crowded beach or a large resort. The condo is one of six (?) units but we never heard our neighbors. It is next to Gumbalimba Park (a nature preserve) and separated from West Bay by the laid back Las Rocas dive resort. The grass in the water right in front of the condo does not invite swimming but there's a "hole" in front of Los Rocas a few feet away and plenty more beach and swimming at West Bay. You can also take advantage of the large pools at the nearby resorts by simply buying a drink or a meal there. The unit we rented (3b) might not be considered luxurious by American standards, but it was very comfortable and had everything we needed (small pool, kitchen utensils, washer/dryer, TV with Satellite, towels, etc.) and covered parking. We have been to Roatan countless times and have stayed in high-end resorts but we highly recommend this condo to anyone who prefers the beach at a good price and without the crowd."

  • Nothing but good things to say!

"This condo was amazing. The owners have it in perfect condition and it is so much nicer than a classic hotel room. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own food so you have an option of not eating out every day. There is plenty of space and a total Caribbean feel to the décor! Loved everything about it. The lister/owner was extremely helpful. She was easy to contact and helped us with the island transfers and with any information we needed. In addition to helping us she gave us information about the island and suggested favorite activities and restaurants so we felt like we new the island before we even got there. I enjoyed this condo being on the ground floor so there were steps to walk up and it is very very close to the pool, beach and dive shop! Overall Infinity bay was a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful location, with the best beach on the island. Security was kind and welcoming, as well as every staff member I met! I would HIGHLY recommended a stay at this listing, we will be back!"
