"Sea pool villas is a beautiful property with a breathtaking view with all the comforts of home. Brigitta and jaw really did spoil us with meeting our every need and answering all of our questions about roatan. The villa is so comfortable and the shower in the master bath is gorgeous . We ate every meal on the inviting balcony just appreciating God s creative beauty. Sea pool will not disappoint you! Oh I forgot the gardens. Jaw has used his gift of gardening on their piece of paradise. You just gotta see it."

  • Unreal

"Look, I understand how someone could give this a three-star rating if they are expecting to be in walking distance from other stuff, need air conditioning, etc., but that is not what this place is about. Yes, the grocery store is 20 minutes away, but on the bright side, you are 20 minutes away from civilization in your own private paradise. My wife and I went with a couple of friends, none of us had kids, and we initially had certain expectations, like restaurants close by, internet/phone service, air conditioning, etc., but all of that goes away after your first couple of hours there. The internet didn't work, and I'm glad it didn't, it was an escape from everything. We actually forgot one of our suitcases, turns out we didn't even need it, just need bathing suit and a pair of shorts for an entire week. As for air conditioning, there was a constant cool ocean breeze all day and night, didn't need it. The staff was great, didn't get in our way at all, but were seconds away if we ever needed anything. We literally had our own private reefs right in front of us. You could take the boat out to the deeper reefs, kayak and drop anchor at some other reefs, or just jump off the boat dock and float through some of the most beautiful reefs until you reached the other dock, and then repeat all day every day. We never saw or heard any other boats or people, except for the occasional local fisherman who shouts up to you to see if you would like any live crab or lobster. Who needs civilization when you have this at your fingertips? There was a sound system so we could play our ipod outside, tv with dvd and satellite tv, so you could still stay connected to the world. If you are the type of person that needs to go shopping, go to restaurants for all of your meals, and needs to be entertained, then maybe this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a great escape from the world, THIS is the place for you."

  • Tout simplement exceptionnel (Simply Exceptional!)

"With our 4 children, we came from France to visit Roatan. La Diosa was THE place to stay and we had a marvelous time there : the house and the garden are really wonderful, well equiped, with everything you might dream. The beach is near, and with the kayacks, you're able to snorkel on the beautiful reef in a few moments. Humming birds can be seen while you're taking your shower in the open air. The view is breathtaking. Beeing located on the east part of Roatan is really an advantage : this part of the island is more authentic, but in less than an hour you can access, if you want, the more touristical places in the island. Not far from the house, beautiful beaches, wonderful dives with "subway water sport" that pick you up right from the dock at La Diosa. Punta Gorda with its Garifuna joyful feats and dances is very near... And what made our stay really remarkable was the presence of Jorge. He is perfect in his role as caretaker : helpul, efficient, hardworker, always available but never intrusive. And we found he goes far beyond his duty, in the good sense : friendly, giving good advices, taking care of our security in every aspect, always ready to talk about Honduras and Roatan, showing our kids how to cook a traditional recipe. After a few days, though he was always discrete, we had the impression of being at home with a friend nearby. Jorge is really precious and added greatly to the quality of our stay in La Diosa… The best summary comes from our kids "when do we come back ?". And though it's very far from France, no doubt we also dream of it! PS : if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, don't hesitate to go far east, on the dirt road, to "La Sirena" restaurant : the view and the beach are amazing, and you've got the feeling of being at the edge of the world. Their fishes are delicious."

  • Very Satisfied

"The house was up on a hill with a very nice view of the ocean. It has pretty much everything you'll need such as cooking, eating, towels and etc. Shanna and Ryan are very friendly and helplful as well. The pool was always empty so we had it to ourselves pretty much the whole time. I would definitely recommend renting a car because the walk to the beach, stores and restaurants is a little tough. The house is up on a hill so walking back up is not easy. Overall the house was very nice and clean, I highly recommend."
