Ahwahnee cottage rentals

My boyfriend and small dog had an amazing stay here. We can’t speak more to the cleanliness and convenience of the property. With a huge outside space, a creek in the backyard, a jacuzzi, morning birds and light through the trees…we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Shannon was thoughtful and responsive and an impeccable host. If you have the chance to stay here, you will remember it forever.

We had a great time! The cottage was very cute and had everything we needed. Our hosts Donna and Eric were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the area and visiting Yosemite. Se may be back!

My family and i had an AMAZING vacation at Savitri’s cottage. It’s 30-40 min away from Yosemite National Park and about 15 min away from Bass Lake. Perfect stay for a family of 4. Savitri and her husband are amazing and heart warming couple. They have a pen where they keep chickens and even left us fresh eggs in the kitchen. During our stay, the city had a power outage and Savitri and her husband were fully aware of it and immediately came by and brought us flashlights and candles and even bags of ice as they live near by. They also brought us mosquito repellent in case we wanted to hang out on the deck until the electricity came back on for the A/C. One morning when we woke up there was an envelope on the mat with $20 to treat our daughters to some ice cream at an amazing spot in Oakhurst called Reimers which was really thoughtful of our host. Definitely looking forward to come back soon. Highly recommended booking a stay at this unforgettable cottage.!! Thank you Savitri for making us feel at home!!

I cannot say enough about how perfect this little cottage was. The pictures do not do it justice. The hosts went above and beyond with all the little details. They were very responsive and kind. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The grounds were so beautiful. We loved the swing by the creek. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite. We could not give a higher recommendation to this place or the hosts!We would give more stars if we could. Cannot wait to go back one day!!

My mother and I found this cute little cottage just in time for her 60th birthday celebration at the end of summer just before fall temperatures started dropping. It was absolutely perfect for us 2. We had our coffee on the porch to greet the day and after our day hikes in the evening to warm up just as the evening chill set in. It’s so close to the lake, we went on a sunset hike and hung out until dark. It was very peaceful. It’s so quiet at the cottage. There are neighboring homes but in the few days we stayed, we never saw anyone other than the owner that walked by one day and greeted us from afar. There was a small space heater perfect for the early dawn - and an AC installed for the noon temperature that rises randomly (we were here a week after an insane heat wave we experienced in San Diego.) The water in the shower gets nice and hot quickly, which we appreciated in the mornings. The tv was barely used but we managed to play Lord of The Rings on HBO one night to help us drift off to sleep. Our stay was just lovely, welcoming, comfortable, and memorable. I’ve definitely saved this spot to use again for my birthday in the spring. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay!
