  • Stunning Wester Derry

"We rented Hazel Lodge for one week. It is in a beautiful location the house is spacious and clean and the owners friendly and welcoming. The barn play facilities were great and kept our kids amused whilst we prepared dinner etc. It was an ideal location to visit Glen Shee, Blairgowrie, Kirriemuir, Dundee. Our kids loved the log burning stove and ice cold tap water (a novelty coming from Australia) I would very happily recommend this property to friends it is great for families. It is everything you could wish for in a holiday home. Thank you. Our boys enjoyed a kick around with the boys from the farm too! The soon to be added wifi to the house will be the icing on the cake. (Wifi was available intermittently in the barn)"

  • Lovely property

"This flat was ideal for our Easter weekend trip to Blairgowrie visiting relatives . We arrived well into the evening after a very long drive on Good Friday, and the owner's mother who was arranging the key handover was very accommodating and welcoming notwithstanding our late arrival. The flat is well presented and maintained to a high standard, and we were very comfortable. We particularly liked the stunning views over the River Ericht from the living room. This part of the country wasn't affected by Storm Katie, but it was still too cold and wet for us to be able to use the balcony or do much walking, so we were glad to be able to see the river in all its glory from the sofa. I grew up two minutes' walk from the Ericht and spent a large part of my childhood paddling and swimming in it, watching the salmon swim upstream to spawn, and exploring the banks. The smell of the balsam poplars on a sunny day in spring is wonderful."
