We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful house. Durant offers convenient shopping just 20 minutes away but far enough to remain secluded. Boat slip made this property a perfect fit for our family—easy access just a short walk away. We will be back for another stay at this property!

The property was very cleaned and had most of every day issues (sheets/towels/pots and pans/dishware/ and more). The couch was the best ever nap I've ever had in a while. The bed too was comfortable to sleep. I would recommend this place to chill out and decompress from every day life.

I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay at Alena and Reggie’s place!! Not only was their communication quick and clear they truly thought of everything we would need for our stay! I must’ve looked at over 2 dozen places on VRBO and this was my top choice my only concern was not having a fenced in yard for our dog but we live in apartment without a yard and so we knew he’d be okay and 98% of the rentals didn’t have fenced in yards. Y’all… Alena surprised us with having part of their yard fenced in so we could have a safe space to let cooper run around - and not only that it was built better than his dog park back home- we were speechless!! We really appreciated the automated lights outside as it made going out really easy and made us feel safe. They also provided everything we needed to use the fire pit (unfortunately rain stopped us). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals at home and had dog bowls as well!! They had plenty of utensils/pots/pans as well as a variety of spices and things! The owners (Alena and Reggie) were always available via messenger and were so kind and friendly throughout our stay!! Their attention to detail to make this getaway a place where all your needs are taken care of you all you need to focus on is your vacation!! We cannot wait to visit again!!

We just wanted to get away for a couple of days for relaxation and a change of scenery. This cozy cottage was comfortable and inviting, and our dog was welcome to join us. It's early December and we were pleasantly surprised when we stepped inside. The cottage was heated and ready when we stepped in from the cold. We were greeted by sweet and simple Christmas and winter decor. Even a lit up Christmas tree! A remote controlled fireplace, bedding available for our dog, basic kitchen supplies, plus some snacks and chilled bottled waters that really came in handy. There were so many thoughtful extra touches that made our stay comfortable and stress free. The scenery was nice, and the night stars and peaceful quiet. We were able to charge our laptops and devices without any problem. The wifi worked well. There was plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. It felt private, peaceful and cozy. It's a working farm and we saw some work happening in the distance during the day, but we never saw anyone close to the cottage. We felt comfortable that we could get in touch with the owner if needed, with the available instructions. We really enjoyed out stay and we hope to return in the future.

Lovely home... spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the huge deck and the fenced yard. Finally found a rental home with a decent gas grill (Weber) for cooking all the fish we caught on Texoma (the lake lived up to its reputation). The nearby beach was a pleasant surprise (clean sandy beach and lake bottom, gentle slope and bath-water warm water in the middle of June). My family enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.
