  • Great Location and wonderful balcony Views

"We had a great time in Orange Beach staying at the Phoenix 1. The condo is very colorful, and I loved the decorations. The king size bed in the guest room is very comfortable. The balcony views are incredible it rained one day, but we were still able to sit on our balcony and watch the waves roll in. The condo itself had plenty of room for 4 of us (2 adults/2 kids) the kids didn't even fold out the couch bed they just slept on the couch and loveseat. They supplied anything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and all the appliances worked great. The clothes dryer was a little slower than what I'm used to back home so I would run it twice but well worth it, it was wonderful having a washer and dryer on vacation. Beach was within steps of the pool which was incredible and we even got to see sea turtles hatch and released to sea. One of the best vacations we've ever had. The only complaint I have (which is outside the condo's control which is why I still gave 5 stars) but I thought I would mention, the walls in the condos are not very good at cancelling out noise. We were woken early every morning by noise. A condo above us was getting carpet work done so it sounded like we were sleeping under a jet engine. Trash comes at 6 AM (lots of commotion) Mon & Wed, and maintenance workers were outside our condo (talking very loudly) at 7 am daily from Mon - Fri, so if you get very cranky about loss of sleep then this may not be the condo for you. I managed it by taking an afternoon nap everyday, but when I'm on vacation I like to sleep in so being up early everyday was a little irritating."

"The area was very spacious, had extremely comfortable beds and nice furniture. Great view of the beach, too. It was a very relaxing time and can't wait to come back."

  • Perfect for our family

"We absolutely loved this beautiful condo with amazing views of the gulf! We traveled all the way from Maryland, and had very high expectations which were most certainly met with this condo. We enjoyed listening to the waves while we were falling asleep every night. The condo was tastefully decorated and had a brand-new big screen TV which was great for viewing the Olympics. I personally enjoyed sitting out on the balcony relaxing and taking in the sights. This building is in the perfect location on the beach where it is not super crowded and is a very short walk from the building to the beach. This was especially important to us while hauling kids and tons of sand toys and beach chairs to and from the condo each day. We definitely plan on returning each year and staying in the same condo as it was a wonderful family vacation for us! Gulf Shores has many fabulous restaurants that we enjoyed trying out each night. My husband snuck in a few rounds of golf at some beautiful courses."
