  • Sonoran Retreat

"My husband and I stayed over the weekend for a special celebration and had a wonderful visit. Our favorite activities were just sitting on the porch swing (overlooking the city in a very peaceful setting) while we watched the sun rise and set each day. We enjoyed the same while experiencing a full moon. We hiked the Sweetwater trail which is within walking distance of this lovely casita. We explored the neighborhood, the downtown areas, the Sonoran Desert Museum and the Silverbell Lake. The accommodations were perfect for us, providing the privacy and benefits of being in a "home" vice a hotel room. Our hosts were very gracious as well. The home is comfortable and well stocked. Recommend this for anyone interested in enjoying solitude and beauty."

  • Perfect fit for family of six

"I chose this rental because of its perfect design for an extended family of 6; our son, wife and two grand daughters (3 & 7). It has a large center living room and spacious remodeled kitchen, both bedrooms & baths are located on either side of the living room and that provides for a very nice and private layout. My son and wife wanted this Casita because their bedroom had two beds in it, much better when traveling with small children than trying to get them to stay in their own room in a new place. We came in Mid-June for a 3 day event at the JW Marriott, a short 2 min. drive away. The kids played daily in the olympic size pool and made lots of new friends. Being from Hawaii the children and my daughter in law have never seen many animals like squirrels, coyotes, Calif. Quail although we do have pigs in Hawaii that are similar to their cousins the Arizona Javelina's. We got to see all of these beautiful animals right outside the back sliding glass door, it was a wonderful experience for the girls. The kitchen in this rental is better stocked than ours at home, complete with bakeware, tupperware, lots of dishes and lovely glasses. We ate all meals in for the week that we were there and even had two friends that live in Tucson over for a bar-b-que on the last night. The floors throughout the units and patio have all been recently remodeled with lovely new terra-cotta tile and Arizona flagstone, yet again another reason for choosing this one over some of the others with white carpet... The bathroom was large enough to have a party in and the A/C keep us comfortable day and night. Debbie the owner was very easy to deal with and made our stay seamless. Here's to hopping that they have the event at Starr Pass JW Marriott again next year because we would love to come back and stay again. Thanks Debbie for allowing us to stay in your "Starr Pass Casita" it is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the desert."

  • Beautiful home!

"My husband and I spent 10 days in this beautiful home in the middle of March 2016 and enjoyed all it had to offer! The house is spacious, decorated nicely and the bed in the master bedroom off the family room was wonderful...so comfortable! Loved the quiet neighborhood, the beautiful landscaping and the front patio...my favorite spot for morning tea, catching some sun & bird watching. The back covered patio is beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains. Even tho houses were nearby, felt like we were "by ourselves". Owners were easy to work with and our deposit was returned in record time! Would recommend renting this house to anyone..you will not be disappointed!!"

  • Loved this home, the location is the best, can't wait to come back!

"I rank this home as one of the best ever. It is such a lovely and comfortable home to live in. The beds and linens were excellent and the kitchen is fully stocked. It was very clean and Rita Jann was very helpful: a delight to talk to while arranging our stay. We loved the close proximity to to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area and so enjoyed our walks through this magical land. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Tucson. What a delightful home! and host!"
