  • Great Girl's Weekend!

"The Perch was a great place for our girl's weekend with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. One of the best places we have stayed in our 20 years of getaways. Very quiet but still close enough to enjoy the town. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay."

  • Fantastic Summer Rental!!!!

"This is the second time we have rented this property, so that tells you a lot about how much we enjoyed our stay. The pictures really don't do justice to the place. All of the bedrooms were larger than the pictures show. The downstairs Master bedroom is huge!!! One of the bedrooms upstairs had enough room for us to add a cot. The bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. Absolutely no complaints about maintenance. There are 2 separate areas for people to eat, but the kitchen is so large that a big family (We were 9) can all eat together. But the best part was the sun room!!! Windows all around for a spectacular view of the lake, especially at sundown. We all just wanted to live in that room!!! The lake water was clean and warm and the kids enjoyed jumping off the dock. Next time we go to Hot Springs Village, this is where we want to be. Thank you Gary for another great vacation!!!!!!!"

  • Great Family Vacation

"We had a great family Vacation. It was our first time to Arkansas (we live in Dallas), the setting of the cabin was perfect. You felt like you were really away from everything, and that's what we wanted. We had our 3 boys (16,13,6) and they had great time. Loved staying in the bunk house (no bathroom only neg.) The Trampoline was a huge hit as well, and was in very good shape. The master bedroom was so dark, we slept in several mornings. Loved the Humming birds on back porch. We used the Canoe, several times and enjoyed fishing and swimming right off the private dock. The old downtown area was very cute, and had some great restaurants. We rented a boat one day and went tubing which kids loved. We also went to Branson one day when weather was bad in Rogers. We took our kids last year to Bahamas and did big resort, this year we wanted a low key, week at the lake and this property was exactly what we wanted. There were lots of fun games, dvd's, and everything we needed. (If your looking for luxury get away, this is not it, but if you want a fun getaway at the lake, perfect). would go back to this cabin again!"

  • Great house - perfect for 2 familes and/or lots of kids!

"2 families - 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 7-10, stayed in Cor's home for spring break. We were very happy with the condition and layout of the home. The adults took the upstairs' two master bedrooms - both were spacious with comfy king sized beds, tons of closet space, good sized bathrooms, lake view, direct private access to the porch. The kids pretty much stayed downstairs the entire time - their own bedrooms, bathrooms, pool table, fridge, and TV, as well as their own covered deck with seating. The only suggestion would be adding a door at the top of the stairs! While we had unseasonably warm weather, the water was too cold to swim, but we did make use of the kayaks, and Cor arranged a boat rental for us from a friend, which was a lot of fun for all. The gas grill was out of propane, but the housekeeper responded quickly to my call. We were disappointed that the waterfall wasn't on, but said it's turned off in the winter months. We caught tons of fish off the dock, including a huge bass, and we had lots of duck and deer visitors. We took a half day trip to Wegner Crystal mine - well worth the trip, and we collected LOTS of great crystals. The men played golf one day while the moms and kids went hiking up at Petite Jean State Park, which was fabulous. We also brought our own bikes and biked the Desoto trail - it was VERY challenging for us flat-landers, but fun. We did several of the hikes around the Village. Recommend the Last Chance Café for lunch, and dinner and 'ritas on the deck at El Jimador. We also ran the boat up to the marina for lunch, and it was lovely to sit on their deck and enjoy a cold beverage. All in all it was a wonderful time, and we'd love to come back!"
