  • A great spot for a large group to gather comfortably.

"The houses are log cabin style. Cozy, comfortable, mismatched, lived-in, well-equipped. The best feature is a huge great room, with several different seating areas, including a large dining room table. Our group gathered comfortably there, and on the comfy front and back porches, over a long weekend. The location feels "in the woods." There is a children's camp next door, which is occupied during the summer, but otherwise quiet and peaceful. The owners are responsive and friendly. We would stay here again."

  • Quiet the Mind

"My husband, dog and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is an open, clean, modern cottage with all of the amenities you would need. We live and work in the Bay Area and wanted a place "off the beaten path" to recharge...we found it here. There are horse patures surrounded by a nice ranch style white fence..which gives it a country feel. The house has a lot of windows and french doors that open up, which lets you enjoy the fresh air and hear the birds. There is a deck along the back of the house where you can enjoy your morning coffee, or star gaze from at night. We woke up to deer grazing outside the bedroom window and fell asleep to the sound of crickets. We saw hawks and I found some beautiful wild turkey feathers on the property. They also have 2 horses and 2 Bassett Hounds. Lyle & Scout the hounds greeted us when we arrived and kept us company on and off during our stay. They got along well with our poodle, and were fun to have around. There is a normal sized grocery store called Holiday Market a short drive away that has everything. The best thing about this place is TIME SLOWS DOWN. The peace and quiet helps you to stay in the moment. I will remember my time at this cottage fondly."

  • Quirky, in a good way

"This cottage is artsy and charming. Well enough equipped, and very clean inside. A bit of road noise when outside, but very quiet inside. Only negative would be the's a bit dark Inside. We had a very relaxing stay."
