  • Awesome House! Awesome Views!

"This amazing house is nestled on the side of a mountain near Boulder. The amenities nearby include a fantastic gazebo and beautiful creek along with a walking trail up the mountain right off of the deck! Our daughters (7 and 5) loved collecting rocks and pine cones all along the trails. Our favorite past times were skipping rocks on the creek and hiking. The house is lovely, clean, well equipped, and very inviting. It was like being home on vacation. Our family loved spending some evenings in the basement/ground floor game room which includes a Wii, large screen TV, ping pong/pool table and darts. The kitchen is also well equipped with everything you might need to cook in (which we did quite a few times). All bathrooms are beautiful and include large walk-in showers. The house is in a great location and we didn't have to travel too far to get to the Flat Irons and all that Boulder (and the surrounding areas) has to offer. The owners were very kind and helpful. Waking up to that view and cool breeze every morning is something I will miss dearly. We can't wait to go back there!"

  • Terrific location for large family gathering

"What a great place to stay in Estes Park! Lots of nicely appointed bedrooms with king sized beds, nice full bathrooms, plenty of room to hang out, fully appointed kitchen, garage, and very attractive furnishings--terrific for small children, teens, adults, and grandparents. The house was also exceptionally clean! Fantastic location for Rocky Mtn NP and Mary's Lake Lodge. If we find ourselves in Estes Park again this will be our #1 choice for accommodations."

  • Perfect Home for a Quiet Getaway!

"This house is fantastic! I searched all over the internet for a place that was as secluded as possible to get away from the busy-ness of the real world, and Karen's place was the PERFECT home. I literally spent weeks researching various places to stay before we settled on this house. There are a few other houses scattered around, but I think we saw 2 people the entire 4 days we were there. The house is on a private road, so you really feel like you are away from the city life. It's a quick 10 minute drive (if that) to downtown Estes, so you can still access the grocery store and restaurants. The sun room in incredible! When we weren't out snow-shoeing, we sat in the sun room, enjoying the amazing view of the Rockies. We came back from Karen's place refreshed and full of life! If/when we go back to Estes Park, we will stay here!"

  • Blizzards and Outages made it a struggle to get there

"We had reserved the home for two nights with our Grandchildren, Son-in-law, and two daughters who were all visiting from Arkansas and looking forward to a Rocky Mountain experience. Our experience is tainted because of all the outside influences that played into the two night reservation, first was the fact that we were caught home in Littleton Colorado unable to travel because of the blizzard that hit on Wednesday March 23, and dumped 2 feet of snow and we were unable to get out of our neighborhood until the next morning, so we lost one night in the rental home. When we did arrive the next day, all of Estes Park was without Internet, Cell Service, and Land Line service so many of the businesses were closed or unable to perform transactions. Thus most of Thursday was without the ability to enjoy the sites and shopping of Estes Park. Service was restored by the next day when we had to leave at that point. The home itself was comfortable and enjoyable, we just happen to be there at the wrong time, which made for a short expensive vacation. Looking back you just have to laugh and know that nothing much more could have happened...The Rock Mountains are still beautiful and worth the trip up there....the rental home is very nice and close to the town and under normal circumstances would be a great place have as a home base. All our adverse experience were outside the owners control and we would still recommend the home for anyone wanting a place close to the action in town and also close to stillness of the Rocky Mountains"
