"Fabulous location, easy ground floor access, very convenient with skis etc, underground parking, very spacious, homely, short walk to lifts, restaurants, bars and the whole of downtown Breck. Very comfortable. Good local manager, nothing too much trouble. Recommended!"

  • GREAT VACATION WONDERFUL LODGING

"My family and I had a wonderful time in this lovely clean home. The fall colors highlighted a vacation of a dream. We enjoyed sitting in a perfect hot tub with a glass of wine looking out at the golden trees and amazing Rocky mts. We were able to let the children go alone to explore the town as the bus stop was a short distance from the house. The property manager was immediately available to answer any questions. She was so personable and we felt comfortable asking her for directions and ideas how to best enjoy our time. The unit we stayed in was perfect for entertaining some other friends who were staying near by (in much less perfect of a home!). We want to come again next year and will definitely ask the property manager to give us the same place. It was wonderful. Nancy from Scottsdale"

  • Great winter escape

"We stayed with another family and had plenty of room - 5 adults, 3 kids - to rest after a full day's skiing or to talk and game into the night. We loved the high ceilings and the frog mariachi band sculptures. The "hunting lodge decor," as described by other reviewers, was fairly typical, at least from our own prior experiences with slopeside vacation rentals. When we arrived the condo was tidy and well kept, as expected. Extra keys were available in the condo. Next to the heated garage, there is a locker room for skis and snowboards. The wifi appears to be provided by the condo association and not managed by individual owners. Although at night the connection was quite slow, the transmission rates were fine in the early morning and mid-day. The kitchen is on the smaller side, as noted by prior reviewers, but quite well stocked with all the accoutrements and cooking and dining ware needed to put together home-cooked meals every day. Main Street, Breckenridge, and its shops and restaurants are a short walk down 4 O'Clock Road. For those not inclined to walk, the free town shuttle has a stop no more than 50 yards away from Tyra IV/Riverbend at the Snowflake lift/Blue Sky Condo building. The exercise facility is good (I've used it during past visits) and includes a stationary/recumbent cycle as well as weight machine. The condo is located over the outdoor hot tub which could have been bothersome had users become particularly boisterous - I think there are condo regulations regarding noise later in the night. The owner, John, was responsive, courteous and prompt in his communications. We definitely would return, and hope to stay here again next year!"

  • Great Adventure 25

"This is our groups 25th year coming out to Colorado from the Midwest. This condo and Breckenridge contributed to making it a great trip. We had 6 gentlemen (mid 50s up to early 70s) staying in the condo. Plenty of sleeping room and the living room/dining area are great. Had guests over for dinner and fed 8 easily. Kitchen was a little small but functional. It was well stocked with plates, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. The radiant floor heat was superb, as was the gas fireplace ... easy to start and took the cool off the house quickly in the morning. The outside hot tub was great. Toasty warm (103) and great circulation. Well maintained and very clean. I think they drain and refill it after each stay? We didn't use the 2 man tub upstairs. Bedrooms were nice ... I especially liked the cotton flannel sheets in the master bedroom. Ski out was very easy; ski in was a little bit of a chore, but the owner gives great directions for getting there. Be ready for a little poling or skating. An alternative is to ski to the bottom and use the shuttle to get close to the house. But you still have a short walk uphill. The location is very quiet. A duplex like this is way nicer than a multi-floor condo. Garage was nicely heated with plenty of room for ski storage. Plenty of good dining and shopping opportunities in Breckenridge. Again use the city shuttle service as parking can be a problem in town. Close to grocery shopping, rental places, clothing stores, etc. International Ice Sculpture contest was in town while we were there. It was really neat, but we can't promise that. Owner was very helpful before and during the rental. Responsive via email and/or phone. He provides an excellent "hints" printout of medical facilities, ski in/ski out instructions, etc. This is also available in the condo. Thanks Skipper for a great trip. Breckenridge was a nice hill to ski. Staff was excellent and the ski school far exceeded our expectations. Lots of variety from green to blues. Had people skiing the tops from the T Bar, and a friend's daughter taking ski lessons (went from beginner to blues in 1 day). So it meets all the needs of a family or group with varying skill levels.Lift ticket purchases were handy to the lift downhill from the condo. Mike"
