  • This Cabin was perfect!

"My wife and I wanted to get out of the Heat for the Christmas holiday and spent the week there after Christmas including New Year's. We were blessed to have snow on the 1st day of our trip! We rented a four-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler empik a couple trips to Breckenridge for snowboarding and snowmobiling which was only about 40 minutes away. The cabin was exactly as described and felt like we were miles away from civilization! Although there were a lot of beautiful cabins that we passed on the way to this property, this was at the very end of of the road which gave my wife and I the seclusion we were looking for. The owners knew we were from Tampa and we're worried about us getting altitude sickness and we're willing to be flexible with our dates in case we didnt feel wellwhich was much appreciated. Fortunately, we didn't have any problems. We didn't want to leave and are really looking forward to going back during the summer!"

  • Perfect secluded get-a-way with beautiful views.

"Prior to arriving we had a few questions about the place and amenities and the owners were quick and courteous to respond. The property was easy to find with the provided maps and everything was exactly as described. The Hot tub was easy to access and set to a perfect 104 degrees. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace and the place was very clean. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils and cooking gadgets to prepare a four star meal. We loved our stay and plan on returning with the kids next time."

  • Cozy and bigger than it looks

"We have absolutely loved staying at this cozy cabin tucked into the woods but still really close to town. We stayed during a week of massive snowfall and sub zero temps and we were lounging around in our t shirts and shorts because they have this amazing wood stove in the main living area that pumped out delicious heat all day long. We had two adults and three kids as well as our pooches and I was a little concerned when we pulled up and saw the size of the building, but it housed us all quite comfortably. The loft area was super cool with a rung ladder to climb up to it and white christmas lights strung along the ceiling. The bed shown in the pictures is actually two beds pushed together so our boys stayed up there with full run of the top floor. They loved it - very campy. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The shower stayed warm much longer than we anticipated and all of the amenities were there and in good shape. We used the full kitchen to cook family meals and everything worked great. She has stocked all of the dishes you could need to cook a real meal :-). The back yard is ginormous and fenced so the dogs loved wading through the hip deep snow chasing squirrels and each other. The fence is not tall, nor is it a solid plank fence. There is a very friendly and large yellow lab that was in the yard next to us, and with the snow so deep we really had to watch them while they were out there because they could just step over the fence. There is ample parking for two large vehicles in front of the building - we had a large Suburban and an FJ towing a snowmobile trailer and we had no problem getting in and out of the driveway. Erin was very communicative and accommodating. We had no issues with her or with the property. We will definitely stay here again!"

  • A beautiful mountain lake getaway!

"We so enjoyed our stay at Treehouse Cabin. It's charming, cozy, immaculately clean, and very well appointed. The setting is peaceful and the deck provides a perfect place to sit and take in the views with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The owners were easy and enjoyable to work with. Next time we are in Twin Lakes, we will definitely try to stay at Treehouse Cabin!"
