  • 1 Year Anniversary Trip to Paradise

"We celebrated our 1 year anniversary at Lilac Cottage and it was nothing short of amazing. Sitting on the deck, floating in the pool, watching the planes fly overhead, enjoying a cocktail, it truly felt like we were in paradise. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside with all the original pine floors, staircase, etc. Property both inside and out immaculately kept. The location is amazing, quiet street, but SO close to all the sights of Key West. It was a 15 minute walk to everything we wanted to enjoy while in Key West; Duval Street, Mallory Square, Southernmost Point The bike shop right across the street was great for all our biking needs, we definitely recommend hopping on a bike and exploring the island. A little bodega was right down the street that we stocked up on water, snacks, alcohol (while there are a million bars in Key West, you will definitely want to spend a day and/or night just relaxing in the pool). So many great restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Get out and explore an you will find hidden gems everywhere like Flaming Buoy for dinner, great Cuban dinner at El Siboney, late night snacks at Sandys Cafe. We HIGHLY recommend Lilac Cottage to anyone looking for a great stay in Key West, the concierge service was fantastic, made great recommendations and were at our disposable with any questions, needs, etc. Don't think we could ever stay anywhere else in key West without being disappointed because Lilac Cottage is a little piece of paradise, you may tear up when its time to leave!"

  • The best of the best in Key West!

"The perfect home for 4 people in so many ways! 2 Blocks from all the action on Duval Street. A secluded backyard with a heated pool, outdoor eating area & a couple of loungers. Inside is a beautifully decorated abode with soaring ceilings everywhere so it feels bigger than the conch home is actually. Just right & well afforded with luxury linens, overhead fans in all the right places & air conditioning. All the amenities you would think you have to bring to a rental, you really do not! Everything is there at your disposal. It is so nice you take pride in keeping it that way! Donald, the owner Sombra, the manager & neighbor Eddy are all so helpful. Anything you are interested in, they have a recommendation. Bike rental from Eaton Cycles was one of the recommendations. Our bikes were dropped off & picked up at no charge. As you read all the reviews for this home, just know that it has tender loving care in every corner the place. We hope to be back in the future! Thanks again for an exceptional week. Melissa & Greg, (Andy & Margie)."

  • Wonderful Stay in Key West

"We had a wonderful month stay in Key West. Julie and Tom were great hosts and we left feeling that we have new friends in town. The apartment has all the amenities of home (including a washer and dryer which we loved having). It was private and quiet (even with the neighborhood roosters) yet very easy to get to Duval St where all the action is. There are restaurants, shopping and the waterfront harbor all within walking distance. We rode our bikes every day all over town and to Zachary State Park. Everything was great and we are already looking at dates to visit again. Thank you Julie and Tom for a great stay!"

"A group of 4 ladies spent a week here to celebrate a special birthday year. We were all happy with the accommodations and how close it was to everything that we chose to do. We were able to walk each day to tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. We enjoyed the nearby beach and pool as well. Although we didn't really need a car, we had one due to our distance from our airport/Ft. Lauderdale, so we did use it to get some groceries. It was great to have the parking spot. We loved using the serene and tropical back porch to eat/drink several times a day. It was also very convenient to have a W/D for laundry. We would all definitely stay again!"
