  • Love it!

"We recently had the absolute pleasure of spending a month in Dos Casas. This property could not have been more perfect for our guests and our family! Mike and Charlene thought of every little detail but there is no denying our all time favorite part of the house was the outside shower! We liked it so much, we are putting one in our home. The Casas are perfectly located to just about everything you need to enjoy your time in Key West. Our senior Golden Retrievers also loved the property and enjoyed their daily walks around the quaint neighborhood. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again next year!"

  • Very nice time

"Check in was in another building in the neighborhood, but easy. When we arrived we checked the bed linens and found some dark spots on the bedspreads that were distasteful. The sheets also had some long hairs in them, and the white towels had some stains on them. We called the management office right away and they were incredibly swift in rectifying the situation, so we were happy about that. They even gave us two bikes for free to use during our stay because of it and we appreciated that immensely. The kitchen had a lot of little ants everywhere, so don't leave anything out on the counters. It's a Key West thing to be aware of. A top shelf in the bathroom was swarming with ants and it was pretty alarming. Apparently there was some ant bait placed up there and boy were they baited. It freaked me out. The grounds are gated which made me feel very safe and they had a lovely pool you could dip in which was lovely. This particular unit faces the street and the entrance to the courtyard so you don't have any privacy unless you pull the blinds closed, which darkens the whole apartment. It wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice to have some sunlight coming in. The people who take care of the complex live next door and are very nice. However, one of the rules of the complex is that you're not allowed to dry anything out on your porch area on the wicker chairs. They tell you to dry everything in your bathroom or use the dryer (which is on site, coin operated.) We thought this was silly and couldn't see that seriously being enforced because it's a beach location and people are going to have towels, suits, etc.. It was. That struck me as a little uptight. The location is perfectly suited to all the attractions in Old Town and ultimately I would stay here again. The management team told us that there were going to be some upgrades to the unit coming soon, which is exciting. The pros outweighed the negatives."

  • Wonderful... Perfect for two

"Perfect for a Key West escape! Very clean and comfortable. The bikes are the perfect way to get around, and made site seeing so much fun! Would love to return and stay in this little piece of heaven. The only improvement I would suggest is some type of exhaust fan in the kitchenette... The one meal we cooked made everyone in the complex hungry!"

  • Amazing place & even better location!

"We stayed in Harvey's Haven for a week and loved every minute. This place is absolutely perfect for a couple (and even 4 people if needed with the pull out couch/bed). The location is amazing and within walking distance (or short bike ride) to everything. We rented bikes for the week and made the reservation before arriving. The bikes were delivered and waiting for us when we arrived from the airport. We were able to start our venturing immediately. You are merely a block off of Duval street, making the access to places to eat, nightlife, etc. easily accessible. Although you are so close to Duval street, you are still away from the noise and will find the place peaceful and relaxing. The grounds of the location are nicely kept and we enjoyed several days sitting outside by the pool and relaxing. The room has the essentials of everything you will need for the week. It is very clean and updated. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay for our first time visiting Key West. We will definitely be back in the future and cannot wait to stay here again :-)"
