  • Beautiful, peaceful getaway. Loved the sunrise.

"The kitchen was well equipped for our group of 6 but there was no dish soap for washing dishes by hand. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable but the placement of the entry door and the bathroom door was awkward. There was no extra roll of toilet paper for the main floor master bathroom. The grates on the gas grill need replacing and some of the screens on the screened in porch have come loose and are in need of repair. Lastly, the eagle sculpture on the coffee table is a true work of art, but it blocked the view of both the TV and the magnificent view of the mountains for anyone sitting on the large comfortable leather sectional."

  • Beautiful home with many amenities.

"This was a great place to be with our family. Many opportunities for fun right there in the cabin itself. Also, really close to other activities. Thanks for a great week!"

  • Reunion Retreat

"My family reunion consist of 8 siblings & their spouses, which we rotate who host the reunion each year. This year my sister and I hosted. We found Heaven & was easily able to reserve the house for Labor Day weekend. The owner was very accomodating. The house had plenty of space for 16 people to move around both indoors as well as outdoors. During the day we had additional visitors to come in and spend the day with us and still had plenty of space. The children enjoyed swimming, kayaking and playing on the sliding rock. Several of the adults enjoyed hiking and walking throughout various places within Big Canoe. The house had comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and televisions. However, we would have liked to have had a bigger TV in the main living room. However, the TV in the game room was a great size. The kitchen was well stocked, as just about every meal from Friday night to Saturaday morning was cooked either indoors or outdoors utilizing the grill. We definitely will consider renting this house for future reunions."
