  • Cozy cabin that made us feel right at home.

"The cabin was clean, the decor was just what you would want in a cabin getaway. The beds were a little firm to me but I slept like a rock every night and was well rested each morning. The kitchen was well equipped with newer appliances and a deep sink that was really nice. The gas grill was a high end grill that was in perfect working order. We grilled fish and steaks on 3 different nights. The decks. I can't say enough about the decks! One was screened in and the others were big and open. 2 swings , 1 glider, about 8 or so rockers and a nice table with 4 chairs that rocked also.If you can't enjoy the outdoors at this cabin there is something wrong with you! The view was the icing on the cake ! Just couldn't get enough of it . The pictures do not do it justice. Private setting with a great view of the mountains...it just doesn't get any better. Sandy, the owner, was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. She sent several e-mails that were very informative about the area and area attractions. From places to eat to hiking trails and everything in between. You definitely will not run out of things to do! We had a great escape and will for sure be coming back ! Thanks Sandy for alloying us to use your cabin and for your hospitality !"

  • We've stayed here 3 times and will again.

"This cabin is perfect for us. Plenty of room for 2, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cleaning crew does a great job. The cabin has been quite clean each time we visited. No musty smells, no dusty window blinds. The beds are very comfortable with quality bedding. Great view, nice deck. Cabin is well stocked with essentials. The only challenge is the steep hill to get to it. John did the driving while I held on and closed my eyes. I have bad knees, so I couldn't walk along the road too well. But we got plenty of walking in town. We had some excitement very early Easter morning, as a bear visited exploring the deck. He found the bird feeder and helped himself. He knew how to open the feeder to get the seed! It was amazing to watch him. Afterwards, he ambled along his way. Later, mid morning, I checked the feeder and it was not damaged. Needless to say, we did not put it back out. The owner communicates well. We have emailed back and forth so often that I feel like I know her. I've not had to call, and she answers emails quickly. We will be back again soon."

  • Relaxing and quiet dog-friendly stay

"My fiancee and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway at this secluded and peaceful cabin in the mountains. Fully equipped cabin surrounded by trees in the mountains. We saw several deer, birds, a turtle, and lots of squirrels. The screened patio gave us a peaceful area to relax in. Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet get away."

"Wonderful place to stay. My family spent a few days there this fall and were very pleased with the cabin. The owners go above and beyond to make sure their guests have an enjoyable time. The location is quiet. The cabin well furnished. The stream peaceful."
