  • Beautiful, quiet, cabin on rocky streamlet

"Beautiful, well-kept and well-equipped cabin. Great host. Very private. The sign on the trail just beyond the cabin says a lot: "foot traffic only." This is the last place you can take a car to. The deck over the tumbling stream is perfect for evening relaxing and morning quiet with the sound of water cascading over the rocks. Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay."

  • Excellent View

"Th Eagle's Nest has an incredible view off the deck. We enjoyed it every morning. The cabin has everything you need and is well equipped. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. The internet worked fine and the fireplace was also nice. The road getting up to the cabin was rather tough going the last 50 yards or so but was probably due to the lack of rain in the area. There were several dogs from the neighbors up the road that would venture down the road and bark on several mornings at around 7am but didn't really bother us. Overall, a very nice place and great owners."

  • Perfect vacation cabin!

"We just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay! Wish it could have been longer, but this cabin is so awesome, it is always booked ! When we arrived we met Mike. He & his wife Sharon own this cabin & the beautiful property. Great guy, easy to talk to ! The view from this cabin is stunning! Words cannot do it justice. There are beautiful, peaceful walking trails along the lake. The owners share the entire property with you to enjoy it's beauty ! This cabin is secluded, but only about 15 minutes from either Ellijay or Blue Ridge. You should visit both quaint towns ! You cannot come here and not fall in love with the spacious, well stocked, comfortable, beautiful cabin, and then comes Buster & Dixie ! The sweetest and very polite dogs of Mike & Sharon. They hung out with us every day & night and we looked so forward to seeing them. Buster is your own private trailblazing tour guide through the trails! We left very early the morning we checked out & Buster was there and just sat on the front porch watching us drive off, not leading the way as he had done previously. He touched our hearts so deeply, we were quite weepy for a long time. This cabin is a must ! Each season has different things to do, so book early and go !! We can guarantee you will not be disappointed ! We look very forward to our return !!"

  • Great cabin for a relaxing getaway

"Our family truly enjoyed this cabin for a weekend trip. It was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and air hockey table most of all. It is centrally located among hiking trails, waterfalls, and the charming town of Blue Ridge. I would highly recommend this cabin and we are looking forward to returning."
