  • Accurate property description and great customer service.

"We enjoyed our stay at the Pepeekeo house this past week. Randall is very prompt with messages and information. We are definitely happy to have stayed in this location with plenty of living space and private pool. The avocado tree was definitely a perk! Thank you! -Tracie"

  • Spectacular Zen Location, Real Hawaii Experience

"Not our first vacation rental, but by far the best VRBO EVER!!! When you arrive you drive up a fairytale tree lined driveway that borders the stream. Then the real beauty and Zen of Hawaii unfolds in front of you as the driveway gives way to a beautiful clearing with a clear stream and huge pond full of brightly colored fish. Even the fish are Zen because they follow you around like they can telepathicaly communicate with you. The house is wonderful with lots easy opening windows and good screens everywhere. We stayed 4 days in August and it was wonderful weather, the high vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans in every room kept it cool and comfortable day/eve. It rained at night and we got to listen to the frogs along with intermittent rain and the stream sounds. A few showers in the morning and by 8am-9am beautiful sunshine streamed through the palm trees. It really does look like a post card, no joke. Never needed to call the owners during our stay, although Linda did call us once to check on us. The house is super clean, no bugs which surprised me since we're in a beautiful jungle. The kitchen is fully equipped although we didn't cook much here, we did enjoy the blender for fruit smoothies and the coffee grinder for our fresh Kona coffee beans. The huge king bed and sauna were my two favorite things inside the house! Who'd of thought you could enjoy a sauna in Hawaii. Linda warned us the internet was slow but I found it fine, I used it every morning and night to post to Facebook with no problems. Two nice big TV's (living room/bedroom). I must say I think they have more DVD's than Walmart, like an entire wall full seriously. Outside is just remarkable, I could babble on forever about the yard, stream, ponds, fish, birds.....Everything you expect to see when you dream about your Hawaii vacation. Even for us city people this house is easy to find, close to town with everything you could want. We picked up local plate lunchs to go while we were out during the day and enjoyed them and fruit from the Hilo Farmers Market for dinner, so we didn't have to bother to cook. My only regret was only booking part of our vacation in Hilo. We went to Kona for 3 days before coming here and then we realized that we wish we had spent all our time at this fabulous Zen location. We're already looking at coming back next year, more to see on the Hilo side, we're sure to book this beautiful property again. Thanks for sharing your little slice of Heaven."

  • Pleasant tropical getaway with fantastic hosts!

"Jim and Kepi were great from the get go! Upon arriving the hale was set up perfectly and we were right at home. The two bedrooms were upstairs, one had a bed and the other had two - plenty of space for a family of 3 or 4. Downstairs had an inviting lanai and living area/kitchen. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, bowls, plates, etc but not really any spices if you plan on cooking. The location is also great, it's about 15 minutes south of Hilo. There is tons of stuff to do in Hilo or further south (warm pools, steam vents, volcano bike ride was our favorite). The only thing that caught us off guard was that there are multiple units within Jim and Kepi's property. It was never an issue, as there are quiet hours and everyone primarily kept to themselves, but if you are looking for a super secluded getaway, I would recommend asking Jim and Kepi if they are having other tenants at the same time. Thanks for everything Jim and Kepi, see you again!"

  • Great apartment and centrally located

"Apt. has a great feeling about it and and wonderful views. Tasteful, tropical style decorating enhances the views of the pool, landscaping and observatory (when weather is clear). Apt is part of a complex set on the edge of a large lake and park and makes for great walking and duck feeding experiences. I highly recommend the apt and owner is pleasant to work with."
