  • Very peaceful and private

"I really enjoyed my stay. The outdoor setting was beautiful, and the interior was classic Hawaii. I thought the design and decor of the location were impeccable. Two areas of greatest importance to me are cleaniness and privacy. On both accounts, I would give this location high marks. Mozela was thoughtful and available, but otherwise, I was left with the privacy I desired. I would stay here again, and I highly recommend the location to those wanting to experience Hilo more like a local. It's cheaper than resort hotels and far more memorable."

  • Great house, beautiful location, we loved our stay!

"We loved staying at this house that is tucked in the rainforest but still a few minutes away from town. The house is spacious, plenty of room for us two couples. All of the furniture was comfortable, the house was clean and the kitchen stocked nicely. The lot is large and filled with tropical plants with a waterfall at the back. We like to cook and found the kitchen easy to use and the outdoor grill worked. We appreciated the filtered water. The laundry machines are outside the unit but not a problem to walk a few feet. The house has many windows and sliding doors and they all have screens. We had a lovely breeze in the afternoon. And there is a deck that wraps around two sides of the house. We liked the frogs. The street is quiet otherwise and in a nice residential neighborhood. Boiling Pots Park is just a short walk up the street. We have been to Hilo many times and there is lots to do rain or shine. We were there for two weeks this visit so we had a chance to do many things. We did the hike to see the lava hose and it was amazing. Jackie Reyes has a new restaurant and the food was fabulous. The Liliokulani Japanese Garden is wonderful and we like to have a picnic on Coconut Island. Noemi answered questions promptly. The coffee maker didn’t work one morning. I sent a text and we had a replacement very quickly."

  • Luxury Can Be Yours!

"This is truly a luxurious home with all the amenities as advertised. Furnishings are elegant and comfortable, tastefully decorated. The lanais are oceanfront, affording spectacular views for both sunrise and moonrise over the ocean. We BBQ'd dinner and reclined on the pool lounge chairs for some late night stargazing. Simply stunning! We were fortunate to have great weather during our stay so we could fully enjoy the island. Made the short trip up to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and saw active lava bubbling and exploding in the caldera the afternoon we were there. It was amazing!! This is not a property for children, with stairs and cliffs...but perfect for adults who wish to relax and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii from a prime oceanfront location. I highly recommend Paradise Pali will NOT be disappointed!!"

  • Real Hawaii

"The house was a delight. Greeted by Jim who couldn't have more welcoming. The bamboo design was so pleasing with all the conveniences, clean with all kinds of amenities. Several local beach parks within walking distance. I would highly recommend the home. Timothy"
