  • Great Chicago location

"My husband and I recently stayed in this garden apartment in Lincoln Park during our week in Chicago. We did not have a car but were able to get around so easily using the El, riding the bus, and taking Uber. We also walked in the Lincoln Park neighborhood to nearby restaurants (Cafe Ba-Ba Reba and Gemini Bistro) and grocery stores (Carousel and Treasure Island Foods). The apartment was just the right size for the two of us. It is downstairs, and tends to be a little dark as we kept the blinds closed most of the time for privacy. But we felt very comfortable there. And what an amazing collection of books on the bookshelves! My husband really admired the range of subjects and the quantity of reading material. Of course, we didn't have time to read any of them, but we did look a few over. Chicago is a great town, but staying downtown is very expensive. You will find the Lincoln Park neighborhood to be a quiet escape from the crowds and very accessible to all the top tourist spots."

  • An extraordinary holiday celebration

"We gathered 3 out of town couples, an in-town couple (and baby), three dogs and 2 local college students for a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at this property. We rented the home for 10 days. The three bedrooms (including a gorgeous master) and two bathrooms were spacious and accommodated the group. The home is impeccably decorated and welcoming. Appliances were top of the line (fridge, gas oven (great treat!), dishwasher and microwave. Laundry facilities in the unit worked very well and came in handy. The unit is on a lovely tree lined street in the Rogers Park area. We found it to be convenient and quiet. Having a garage space comes in handy, as on street parking can be challenging in Chicago (but no permits needed for street parking in this neighborhood--which is a huge plus). The building manager, Ross, is a delight, and very welcoming. He gave us a tour of the unit and provided guidance on amenities. He offered his availability if we needed him for anything --turns out we did not. We really can't say enough good things about the unit; the space is large; the furnishings are lovely; and the time spent made for a very special memory for our family. We look forward to returning! • Great place to stay just outside the city!

"We had a great stay! This place is perfect for 2. We had a car and found street parking easy. Ubering into the city was cheap too. The accommodations are not lavish but had everything we needed. We were in for business and didn't spent much time here outside of resting, so it was perfect for what we were looking for. The shower does take a while to warm up - so account for that in your morning plans. Overall, we would return again."

  • Great apartment in a fun location

"We had several friends staying together during a get-together in Chicago. Everyone was impressed by the decor, space and amenities of the apartment. The staff was really helpful and responded quickly to our questions after our arrival. The neighborhood has tons of great bars and restaurants but we were also able to Uber easily to other places further afield."
