  • Excellent. As good or better than advertised.

"Alvy's Hideaway is tucked in a little nitch that makes it very private. It is located on Lake Barkley which made it ideal for water activities. The house is ample for 25 people. We had ages from 79 to 18mo. The kitchen is very well supplied with appliances and was handy for cooking for large groups. The management is very easy to work with and available for any needs. We would definitely consider using this facility again. Jamie was there to greet us on arrival and also to send us off on departure. A very satisfying vacation spot."

  • Debbie Marx

"Best Vacation Place on the lake. This was our third year and we just love it. The house is well stocked and beautiful. You can swim and catch all the fish you want from the dock. Sitting on the deck you see some of the most beautiful scenery. We really treasure our time their it truly is a wonderful place to stay. I could easily live there. We are ready for next year. Thank you for sharing your home with us"

  • Cute Hospitable Cabins at a Great Price

"We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The place was cute and had everything you need for a weekend stay. Well stocked Kitchen. Keurig Coffee maker and they include your coffee. Thick plump towels, great hot showers and quiet porch to relax on. There's a place to have a fire and a grill if you want to cook out. Not to far down the road is the lake, and a nice restaurant to eat at with great food. There are antiques and restaurants in Cadiz that make for a nice day also. Owners work hard to make the stay great for you. Reasonable priced and pets are allowed. What's nice is most places charge a cleaning fee and they don't do this."
