  • Wonderful vacation home with all the amenities.

"This was a perfect place for friends to spend a few days away. We were a group of three couples and this home was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed having bedrooms with king and queen beds instead of the typical single beds in a lake rental. All amenities we wanted were available and the location was close to the marina , making water activities easy to access. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here and Kentucky Lake again soon."

  • Cute Hospitable Cabins at a Great Price

"We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The place was cute and had everything you need for a weekend stay. Well stocked Kitchen. Keurig Coffee maker and they include your coffee. Thick plump towels, great hot showers and quiet porch to relax on. There's a place to have a fire and a grill if you want to cook out. Not to far down the road is the lake, and a nice restaurant to eat at with great food. There are antiques and restaurants in Cadiz that make for a nice day also. Owners work hard to make the stay great for you. Reasonable priced and pets are allowed. What's nice is most places charge a cleaning fee and they don't do this."

  • A great place for a family vacation!

"Our grown children and our grandchildren had a wonderful week on Lake Barkley with us thanks to the use of this very nice home! It is very spacious and, even tho the weather was very warm and humid, the house was an excellent area for all of us to gather for meals, sleep and visit! The sunroom turned out to be the favorite area for the little ones to play. I would like highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys being around the water. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and view!"

  • Beautiful home with lots of room for everyone but be aware of the steps leading down to the lake.

"We just returned from our week long stay at Catfish Cove and the home is truly a treasure. Six lovely bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was just right for our group of 12. I don't think there was anything that we needed/wanted that was not furnished AND the Bunn Ice Tea Maker was wonderful. The location is quiet and we saw a mother doe and her twin fawns feeding outside the house. There are 2 screened in porches and a wonderful swing set that our younger grandchildren enjoyed. The only tricky thing is navigating the 100 steps leading down to the covered 2 slip dock. The steps are made of wood and do not set level with the ground so you need to watch your footing and they become slippery after a rain. We had 2 slips during the week. That being said: Catfish Cove served us well! A big Thank You to Jayme, our contact for the week: quick responses to all of our questions."
