  • Family Fun

"This is the second time our family has stayed at Arbor Pointe. We love visiting Michigan every year and this cottage provides all the amenities you could possibly want. A private beach, dock, floating raft, a pontoon (rented at an additional charge), fishing, paddle boats, kayaks, and a swing set for the kids. We even rented a paddle board from a local shop in Pentwater who will deliver and pick-up! The weather was extremely hot during our stay so we missed having A/C. We brought fans and it cooled off some in the evening so it was bearable. Needless to say we spent most of our time on the lake and had an absolute blast. We would highly recommend this vacation home and look forward to our next visit. Thank you David and Laura for allowing us to make some more treasured memories with our family and sharing your cottage with us."

  • Repeat Guests. Love it!

"This is the second time we have stayed at the condo (two Christmases in a row), and we just love it. It really is the perfect location to downtown Pentwater, the beach, Cenzos grocery, and our relatives' house in the village proper. We have found that the space is also much more useful than houses we have rented in the area. The living space and bedrooms are spacious, and the sleeping spaces are separated enough that everyone can be comfortable, rather than cramped. The views, being on the top floor of the building, are fantastic. The owners are also prompt, friendly, and gracious. They even put out Christmas lights and a tree for us in the condo, because we were staying over Christmas! 5 enthusiastic stars!"

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway

"This house was great for our mini family vacation. We had 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Everyone had their own space and the rooms were very comfortable. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax. The 3 season porch overlooking the lake was a great place to hang out, catching the breeze from the lake and avoiding the bugs. Caroline has the house so well organized and filled with anything you could want, from games and coloring books for the kids to tons of beach toys, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was especially well organized, making it easy to find things when preparing meals. She really goes above and beyond to make sure the house is ready for you when you arrive. We got in late in the evening and she stopped by to turn on the outside lights and A/C prior to our arrival and left us a plate of homemade cookies (a big hit with my 2 year old). We had a great weekend exploring the Pentwater River and Lake on our kayaks and having the dock to pull up to when we were finished paddling was really nice. The house is a short, easy bike ride into town or a 5 minute drive, so we were able to explore there and get the things we needed easily. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Pentwater or near the Silver Lake area, mostly because Caroline is a gracious hostess who really makes sure her guests are content throughout their stay. She is easy to reach if you need something and even sent me back my son's baby blanket that was accidentally left. We will definitely be back to Pentwater and wouldn't hesitate to rent this same house again. Thanks Caroline!"

  • Beautiful views of Lake Michigan.

"The overall experience was very good. The house is decorated nicely and is well stocked with kitchen accessories. It is located just south of Pentwater on a small hill at the waters edge. If you plan on accessing the beautiful beach, I don't recommend this location for any person that has an issue with walking down 70 or so steps. The beach area is fantastic, with furnished chairs and a fire pit. A nice deck off the house provides excellent views of the lake. Plan on stopping prior to arrival to pick up any food stocks you may need, as the closest full service grocery is over 30 minutes away. Photos don't give this property justice. This location is very close to Silver lake park and the impressive sand dunes. The owners provide rapid response to questions. We had a very nice time, and we would not hesitate in staying at this location again."
