  • Cabin for our Honeymoon

"We rented this beautiful, rustic cabin for our Montana Honeymoon. Randy kept us informed throughout the whole process and were not left guessing on any details. Randy was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The cabin speaks for itself - Beautiful, Rustic, Clean and Comfortable. The setting was everything it was described to be on the website. We went to sleep every night listening to the sounds of the creek. We loved the peaceful nights and serene mornings with deer in the front yard. We would highly recommend Randy's Cabin to anyone looking for a get away that offers these things in addition to fabulous places to visit like Kootenai Falls! Just a short distance away and is a must see. Thanks, Randy! We look forward to visiting your neck of the woods again. Sincerely, William & Cheri Stromberg"

  • Wonderful home, gracious owners, and pristine location

"It's actually better than it looks in the listing. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We saw many deer and hummingbirds on the property from our window. My kids loved rollerblading and playing basketball on the smooth driveway. The home was very neat and clean. Martha and Neil are friendly, helpful, and our overall stay was even more relaxing than we expected."

  • Awesome Weekend Getaway!~

"My husband and I stayed for a long 4 day weekend and couldn't have asked for any better place! I was slightly leery at first because there aren't very many photos on the website, however, after talking with Tami, I felt very at ease about renting their cabin for our quiet romantic getaway. Upon arriving, I felt even better! Although rustic (which is what we prefer anyway), the cabin is very clean, completely stocked with whatever you may (or may not!) need, and larger than we anticipated. It could very well house 2-3 couples with a couple of kids. We spent the weekend exploring the valley and entranced with the beauty of it all. Even relaxing on the deck enjoying the river was completely worth the trip. Although I hesitate to have more people rent this cabin (because we will be back!), you won't be disappointed in this beautiful place. Thanks again Dave and Tami! We will be back!"

  • Great Vacation Property!

"This was a great property to stay at. Renovated and clean, it went beyond our expectations. Kitchen had an array of staples, from spices to flour. We cooked most meals there, never found anything we needed that they didn't have, even needed a cheese grater and they had that! Cabin does not have any cell reception but has open WiFi so that helped when we needed to connect (which was not very often!). Has satellite TV, as well. Large dining room table but we spent most of our time sitting at the bar looking at the river. Speaking of the river, theres some great fishing right out of the door! Caught something every day, every time we went out. The highlight was the 18" Rainbow Trout! Lots of Mountain Whitefish, caught a couple beautiful Brook Trout, too! Every day there were deer along the banks that we watched and even saw an osprey, eagle, beaver and skunk. Did not use the bunk house, but it had a small kitchen and bathroom in it, along with a bedroom and a loft. Great for another couple or the kids. Lots of books and quite a few games, although some games were missing pieces and vital parts (like the Yahtzee dice! Lol). Bathroom was well equipped and had some staples available to use in case you forgot something. Washer and dryer was definitely a plus! Hiking was great, but recommend the DRIVE to Mt Baldy, even though the trail head was right by the cabin! We like to hike but the difficulty of that trail was far beyond what we were willing to do! The drive up was great, beautiful views and we saw a moose and some mule deer. Northwestern Peak was a great hike, moderate difficulty but well worth it. Yaak Mercantile has basics to purchase, chips, staples, soda, beer, coffee (they have a small coffee bar, too), snacks, canned goods... get your groceries in Libby or Troy! Overall, loved the cabin, was very relaxing and we will be back!!!"
