  • A little piece of paradise

"We spent a week here with our two children, their partners, and 2 children ages 8 & 10, and could not have been happier. We will definitely be coming back. The house is comfortable and spacious, and has a very well equipped kitchen. It has a time worn charm, but with all modern conveniences including two large full baths. There are more than enough towels, pillows, linens, dishes, life jackets, etc. This is not a luxurious place by any means, but it is casual, comfy, and located on the best lake in state. The kids had a blast swimming in the backyard, especially with the Spanish Island (aka The Donut). Highly recommended."

  • Wonderful place for a gathering!

"Our family rented Cygnet Cottage for a long weekend as part of a 90th birthday celebration for our mother. The site is beautiful! and the houses clean and so comfortable, with big windows looking out onto the lake. David and Tara were excellent to work with and very responsive to our questions. We had a mellow gathering of about 25 folks for Mom's birthday brunch and people loved the deck and the big DR and LR for socializing. We brought extra dishes and chairs for the event but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and entertaining. We also used the canoes for several outings around the pretty lake (it would be great to have a couple of more adult-sized life vests on hand). My only comment would be that for older folks the property has a couple of challenges - all of the bedrooms are upstairs, and in the main house there are some steps between rooms (DR/entry down to kitchen, hallway to the bedrooms in the main house). Just something to be aware of if you have folks with mobility challenges. But we really enjoyed this rental and hope to come back some day!"

  • Bremer Street Charmer, Manchester

"This really is a charmer! A beautifully renovated flat in an older home in a nice residential area. My girlfriend and I stayed here in September for a shopping trip to the Merrimack/Nashua area. We chose to rent this apartment rather than stay in a hotel. Great decision! All the comforts of home. We could relax in the living room after a hard day of shopping and enjoy our breakfast in the dining room before heading out in the morning. Thank you, Donna, for providing a home away from home! We didn't want to leave."

  • Lovely quiet weekend with family and friends.

"We stayed at this cottage over the MLK holiday weekend 2017 and it was perfect. We found everything clean and ready to enjoy a lovely quiet time with friends. Kids played good old fashion board and card games and put aside the electronics for a bit. Very conviniently near skiing . Charming little towns all around and convenience store nearby. Will definitely try it in the summer to enjoy the lake just a short walk away."
