    "This is our third stay for a family vacation. We love the quiet, private location on the sound. I do have a few issues to share regarding the condition of the house. 1. we were unable to use the ceiling fan in the living room. 2. the shower head in the downstairs master suite bath is corroded. 3. pocket doors in same suite had been disabled by a nail that was used to install a towel hook. 4. outside shower is missing a shower head. 5. ceiling is peeling around light fixture in second floor private bath. 6. paneling on back side of kitchen island is cracking at the floor line. 7. glass top table in upstairs sitting area has some breakage. We are hopeful that these matters will be corrected. We have enjoyed this house immensely, but have noticed a gradual decline in it's upkeep."

    "Sand Trap was the perfect house for our family vacation. The park like setting of the Currituck Club is unmatched in OBX. The house fit the four generations of our family perfectly. The large dining room table made for great family moments. We were very pleased with Village Reality throughout the rental process. Their staff were professional, personable, and able to answer all our questions. Highly recommend VR and Sand Trap!"

    "Overall, the house was lovely. There was plenty of room and we really enjoyed the large, well-stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, we had problems with a non-functioning dishwasher, microwave, and cable TV box. Village Realty staff notified us of the dishwasher problem prior to check-in and gave us a refund since it took 5 days to repair. The other issues were dealt with expeditiously. Overall, the house was a bit worn and the exterior, including the pool and patio area, was in serious need of powerwashing."
