  • Great house for a great price

"We used this house for a company home while in Portland. The owner is easy to work with and the location is central to where we needed to be."

  • If I could give 100 stars, I would

"If I can avoid staying anywhere else in Portland when I visit, I will. The house was immaculate, well-stocked, comfortable, and in a great location. Lill, the owner, was just lovely. We started our trip at another rental and there were issues with the property so we had leave and find somewhere else to go at 8:00 am the second day of our trip. Lill let us check in the same day and hours early so that we could shower and settle in without a blip in our plans. Her son meet us at the property and was super gracious and helpful. The master shower was like a shower room and it was amazing. There were 6 of us and we all said the beds were the best we'd slept in on vacation by far. Also, we could walk to great local shops, a food truck court, tap rooms, and a beautiful park. It is a short drive from downtown, too."

  • Lovely rustic retreat

"Caroline was a friendly and attentive host- who has clearly put a lot of love and care into the "sky cabin". It is meticulously decorated with a fun horse/western theme that cowgirls/boys will love! We found the location great for exploring Portland- both the freeway entrance and MAX train are blocks away- and the hip shops and restaurants of NE are a long walk or a short drive away. Excellent coffee shop right on the corner and small natural foods co-op within a couple blocks. It is nice to have access to the lovely backyard which is shared with the friendly downstairs tenant- as is the laundry in the storm cellar. We were there in a heat wave and the apt gets lots of sun, so it was warm but the portable AC unit made it manageable. Thanks for a great stay in Portland!"

  • Really nice property and area

"We stayed here for a long weekend recently and six of us were very comfortable. The bakery next door is great for getting some breakfast treats to have back at the house. The street has many bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Parking is on the street but we seldom had any trouble finding parking. Home is very convenient to major roads and airport. Don was great to deal with and checked in to make sure all was okay. Would recommend and would stay here again."
