  • Nice cabin

"This is the second time that we have stayed at this cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed both stays. Very clean and comfortable with nearly everything you will need to enjoy your stay except the food. The location is off the beaten path and peaceful, but only about a twenty minute drive from Huntingdon with grocery stores, a WalMart etc. Nice getaway."

  • Make Memories Here....

"We have rented this home for 6 Juniata College Football Seasons. It has been perfect for our hosting of Saturday night dinners with players and family members. We have made so many great memories here... it the perfect house and the perfect people to rent from. You will never regret renting this home... and making it your home away from home... everthing you need is there. Enjoy... Enjoy... We did !!! The Valdiserri Family, Pittsburgh, PA"

  • StressFree (Well worth the cost), 3 Bdr Home, Near 7 Points Marina :)

"It’s not easy to find the perfect accommodations for any family, much less a multi-family. But this choice nails it. I'm sure it would be just as perfect for several individuals requiring separate sleeping/bedrooms. We had 6 adults and one child. The 3 bedrooms, with sleeping loft, and 2 baths were more than adequate. Not to mention, there were plenty of additional amenities that made our stay quite pleasant. At first we were a bit trepidatious knowing that pictures can be deceiving. Thankfully, this was not the case! The house is of new construction, very well built, and tastefully decorated. You immediately sense a spirit of well being inside and out. The wooded setting is peaceful and quiet. There are no houses built up on top of it. My family loved the layout, especially the open living area, which was conducive to private and shared times. The property was extremely clean and well cared for, offered a fully equipped kitchen, plus laundry, and recreational entertainment such as foosball, pool and ping pong. The owners have been friendly to deal with we would definitely consider returning and recommending to others. We also had a sense of safety/security when we noticed a police car cruising the neighborhood. It's a great choice to stay for visiting the Raystown Lake and surrounding."

  • Excellent!

"Great property, excellent house, and overall nice experience. We stayed here in July 2016 for a wedding in Huntingdon and made a week of it on Raystown Lake. The location was great as it is only 10 minutes from all the retail needs in Huntingdon, about 25 minutes from Seven Points Marina, and yet very isolated at the top of the mountain. The community road and driveway to the house are unpaved and parts are fairly steep as the description notes, but it isn't too bad of a drive and can be done in most any vehicle (my sister-in-law did it in a fully loaded minivan with no issues). The house is well laid out with two bedrooms on the main (entry) floor and two on the second floor (each floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and one with two twins). The master bedroom is on the main floor and has its own master bath. Each floor also has a large shared bathroom. There's also a really nice loft on the second floor directly above the kitchen that is a great area for the kids to sleep. There were already four air mattresses in the loft when we arrived, so our kids and their cousins had a blast sleeping up there. The stacked washer and dryer comes in handy too. Finally, there's a great deck that wraps around two sides of the house with plenty of room for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. Overall excellent stay, great value for the price, and we will definitely be back!"
