  • Memorial Day Memories

"Four generations of family gathered for the long weekend. The house met all of our needs, with room to be together, or find a quiet place to read or nap. The lake access is wonderful. A very gentle slope to the shore and dock. Lots of sun if you want it, and large shade trees if that is your desire. The little kids loved being able to wade into the sandy bottom, or play at waters edge with the provided beach toys. We had one adult and her child both afraid of deep water. They were able to wade into the lake and go further in as they became comfortable, and enjoy the water. At the end of the weekend they were going off the end of the dock. The owner was a delight to work with, and the boat rental company she recommended was as well. We will be back!"

  • Family Time

"Great House! My husband and I rented it with his brother and wife and with our children and grandchild, it made a group of 10. Everyone had their own space with all the bedrooms and baths in this house. We could all sit and eat together in the main level. Loved the concept of the two houses in one. Owner was wonderful to work with. He always replied to emails quick or you could reach him by phone anytime. You also get to bring your fur babies with you. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Quiet & Relaxing

"My family had a great time while on vacation. We rented the pontoon and used it to explore the many islands and coves on the lake. Where we swam and splashed on the sandy beaches. The fishing wasn't bad either. We caught minnows and catfish from the dock, and bass while out in the canoe. The house was great with lots of room for our group of 7 to spread out. Thanks for a wonderful time!"

  • Perfect for families, so peaceful and quiet

"Several of us traveled to the Greenville area to visit my daugher who is attending school there. The Lodge was perfect for us. It can sleep about 12 people comfortably, although we did not have that many people. The kitchen and living area is spacious and it made it easy for all of us to enjoy our time together. It was well stocked with starter supplies and linens. The owner's daughter was pleasant and helpful. We had two children under the age of 5 with us for a few days and they loved running in the open field and going for walks on the trail. While at the Lodge you can enjoy the peace and quiet and all of the natural beauty and just a short drive away is Downtown Greenville where you can enjoy all of the shops and restaurants. The Lodge at Ivy Acres is a perfect location. We hated to leave and look forward to going back"
