  • Good Rental Property

"We enjoyed our stay at the property. There were ample beds for our family. We especially liked the view from all three floors. We will most likely try to book it again for next year. Thanks for letting us share your home."

  • Unforgettable Wedding Weekend

"We picked this place to have our wedding reception--a small gathering of about 30. We couldn't have picked a better place! The homes were beautiful, the sunsets gorgeous and there was plenty of space for a group of 30. The bedrooms were luxurious and clean w/ attention to detail in each room--especially the bridal suite! The 6,000sq. ft. deck was incredible--especially at night. Dale, the owner, was such a sweetheart and very helpful. If it weren't for him the weekend would not have been so amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to have a wedding reception, family reunion or a simple get away vacation."

  • Nice home. 3 separate living areas. Wish some things were fixed.

"What a beautiful home to have a Christmas vacation w/ my family. Beautiful location. Beautiful view of the river. Pros: 3 nice separate living areas. Big kitchen and tv room in the main house. Awesome master bedroom and bathroom(too bad I wasn't able to stay there) Great backyard. Awesome things to do for the kids. Nice tennis court. Nice basketball court. Nice play structure for the kids. Huge lot. Never heard or saw any neighbors cause we were so far away from them. Wilburt, the keeper of the house, was the BEST. He was always there when we needed him (Only a couple of times) Super friendly and helpful. Just far enough away from the "big city" (Austin) that we knew we were in the hills. But close enough to get to Austin if we wanted the "night life" of the city. Cons: Too many little things that were broken that should have been fixed. When we got there, the 3rd house had only power to one wall. Wilburt came out there and fixed it very quickly. But the 3rd house had no hot water. We had to go in every day to take our showers and get ready for bed. The stove in the main house didn't work right. You turn on one knob and it turned on 2 burners. You turn on another knob and it didn't turn on anything. The hot tub didn't work when we got there. Wilburt came out there and fixed it. (Again, Wilburt was awesome) Bottom line. I would stay there again. But hopefully they fix the minor problems mentioned above."

  • Great house Great location

"We really enjoyed staying at the lodge. The listing descriptions including pictures are accurate. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the spacious cooking area. Debbie the owner was most helpful when I called her for some orientation. The boat dock was a plus ; we swam around it and got on a tour boat from it. We found the WiFi speed a bit slower than what we are used to at home. We also noticed strong (hydrogen sulfide) smell of the water from the tap. We definitely would consider renting the lodge again in future and would recommend it to our friends."
