  • Peaceful and Relaxing

"We woke every morning opened our door to our little cabin to see the beautiful Okanagan valley hills. Stayed up late to see the sky light up from the vast stars. Our breakfast most mornings were fresh berries (picked from her yard) with yogurt, toast with local honey (from Paws produce) and freshly ground blue star coffee (provided by Katie). It was a wonderful place to be and Katie was very welcoming and friendly. We explored a new area and made a new friend. Thank you Katie."

  • Stunning location, perfect lodge

"Our extended family of 13 rented this for a week in July and it was perfect. The view from the deck across the lake was better than anticipated (stunning, really). The lodge itself is well laid out: the deck was large enough for all of us to gather for appetizers, the eating area on the enclosed porch was plenty big enough for our dinners and the kitchen worked great for meal prep. After dark we moved to the big living room and played pool and visited or watched a movie downstairs. The bedrooms are especially well laid out for a large group, the bathrooms were all renovated to a high standard and are plentiful. We were kept well entertained by things to do in the area. Some of us went to lakes to the south for early morning fishing, most of us spent a day visiting wineries in BC, some of us went on glorious hikes in the mountains or along the Similkameen River, the interesting ghost town of Molson isn't that far away and of course kayaking around the lake or playing in the water was fun. We've rented large homes in the west before but this one was my favorite, by far."

  • You won't be disappointed!

"My husband and I stayed four nights at Katie's place. It was beautifully appointed with everything one could need. The location was perfect for exploring all the neighboring ghost towns. Very quiet and serene at night, and oh the stars we could see standing on the deck. It was great to explore during the day knowing we had a very nice place to rest our heads at the end of the day. Katie has a sign hanging in the rental......"Enter as guests, leave as friends." I feel that we did just that. Her produce stand, Paws Produce is not to be missed. We enjoyed the fresh fish that she sells. Katie was a very gracious hostess and we will be back! Thank you for everything Katie, the world needs more "Katie's"!"

  • Love it!

"Spent two summers chillaxin on the grass, chucking balls for the dog and skiing from in front of the house. You have your own private beach, The yard is well manicured. The house is rustic and simple but well stocked and very comfortable. The home owner is next door so any issue was delt with very promptly. This is the quite end of the lake, so boating with kids is way!!!! Safer here than in Osoyoos! It's only a 20 drive, including the border line up, to downtown Osoyoos. We love it there!"
