  • Great Location, nice apartment

"The unit is in a great location in Seattle's Captiol Hill neighborhood. Close to lots of bars and restaurants, funky shopping and more . The apartment is walking distance to Pike Street market, the link light rail and downtown. This unit is in a great location in the Capitol Hill neighborhood close to restaurants, bars, funky shopping and more. It's walking distance to the link light rail for easy access to UW, the stadiums and airport and downtown. It's a moderate walk to downtown and Pike Street market. The apartment is well equipped, clean and comfortable with 1 Bedroon, king bed. The $10 a day for parking is a really nice feature as parking in the neighborhood is difficult. Will definitely return on my next trip to Seattle"

  • Clean, well kept, quiet/nice neighbourhood, thoughtful little extras

"A very well kept, clean, light and airy, well appointed property in a nice quiet neighbourhood, with thoughtful and welcoming little extras supplied to make it a very comfortable and relaxed place to stay. "A home from home". Good sized rooms accommodated our party of 4 very well. Our 2 teenage kids liked having their own bedrooms and own space in the light/airy basement, with their own living/tv room (with netflix), kitchenette and bathroom. The property is very close to the upmarket/fashionable and new"ish" "University Village" for designer gear, modern restaurants and a good quality supermarket. Next door to Ravenna Park, with it's shady wooded walks/trails over high wooden bridges, trickling stream, green open space, playground and tennis courts - a haven for joggers, walkers etc. and bohemian eco friendly cafe next to the park. There are plenty of amenities near by. The property is approx 20 mins from the city centre by car. A good tip to avoid the car parking fees is to travel to the centre of Seattle using the new underground train. Catch it from the Husky stadium - (a 20 min downhill walk or 5 min car journey from the house). The house is approx 5 mins to Lake Washington - (very beautiful- great for watersports) 20 mins to the stunning beaches of Shilshole Marina (Golden Gardens Park) or Discovery Beach. Northgate Mall is only 10 mins car drive away. Good access to all roads. We would recommend this home. The only suggestions we can think of are, perhaps full length mirrors in the bedrooms, some beach towels (as we didn't want to use the supplied beautiful white towels for the beach) and another tv located somewhere upstairs to watch while resting from a busy day of sight-seeing (there was only one tv in the house and it was downstairs in the basement). All in all, a great place to stay."

  • Great Neighborhood Location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, plenty of linens, hot tub was a great way to relax at night. The property description was accurate - washer/dryer worked great, and main floor bathroom was excellent. It is an arts and crafts home, so things like sticky kitchen drawers and the upstairs bathroom with the strange shower could be viewed as adding character or frustrating. Other reviewers have mentioned the upstairs bathroom, and it is necessary to emphasize that the property is really a 1.5 bathroom - if you have 5 people that need to shower in the morning, you really only have use of one bathroom. We were there during summer heat, so the bedroom A/C was not adequate for the rest of the house, which was stuffy during the day. neighborhood is charming, quiet, and lovely - walking distance to great coffee, restaurants, and views of sunrise/sunsets. On street parking was not a problem."
