  • Wonderful country living!

"The house and the location have a wonderful open feeling! Lots of windows let the outside light into the spacious, well furnished rooms, and there are games and activities to enjoy outside . Fields of tall corn, blueberries, and dairy cattle with snowcovered Mt. Baker on the eastern horizon made us realize what a lush area of Washington we were staying in. We were 10 minutes away from a good grocery store and the historic, charming Dutch downtown. Mountain hiking and visiting ocean tidepools were two of the activities that we enjoyed nearby. We were especially pleased to meet personally with Mary Ann and her children. Highly recommended!!"

  • What a great place to stay!

"This cabin was one of the most comfortable places we have stayed in the area. The cabin was delightfully decorated and clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The bed is the best we have ever slept on in a vacation rental. The shower was great, also, with nice big towels. We had fun cooking in the kitchen using the products we bought at the lovely produce stands. The view is exceptional. The stars at night are consuming and we even saw a shooting star. The nights are quiet and peaceful. We were a little worried because we stayed during a heat wave with temps in the 90s, but the house had a nice breeze and we were adequately cool without even turning on the fan. We loved listening to the birds and watching the herons fishing in the early morning low tides. This is a great place to vacation and we will be back!"

  • Great get-away house.

"In September, a group of us stayed at the Cedar Tree House for our first annual guy's weekend (a weekend full of competitive events including lawn games, poker, etc). This house had everything we needed. Enough beds / baths for everyone, it was secluded, yet convenient to the freeway, the kitchen was well stocked with everything to prepare and enjoy the meals we brought, and it had a great yard for all of our lawn games. The group consensus was to rent this place annually for the event. The management staff is responsive, and very professional. All in all, we could not have asked for more from our stay at Cedar Tree House."

  • Shangri LA in the Lake Whatcom area!!!

"My husband and I spent 2 wonderful and peaceful nights in this lovely cottage. It was really prefect for us, not too close to the city but not far either. It was the perfect spot to explore about and have a lovely place to come back and relax it. It was so nice that it made it hard for us to leave. We loved that nature all around us too. We particular appreciated the owners beautiful art that graced the walls of the cottage. All in all it was a delight!! It definitely won't be the last time that we stay. Thank you so much."
