  • Excellent cabin close to Mt. Baker!

"This cabin was awesome! We loved staying here. We came to ski at Mt. Baker, and this was about as close as you can get to the mountain (30 minute drive). The cabin was super convenient to the ski shop in Glacier and the bakery nearby was excellent (thanks for the recommendation!). We brought our two dogs with us, and there was plenty of snow for them to run around in outside, and a great amount of space inside for the two of them plus four humans. The cabin was well-appointed, with comfy beds, a good movie collection, and everything we needed in the kitchen. My only complaint is that once we used up the roll of paper towels, we couldn't find a new one. But we didn't look very hard. We would definitely stay here again!!"

  • Wonderfully relaxing time in the PNW

"We had a wonderful stay at the Sasquatch Mountain Cottage! Everything was as advertised - clean, modern, new construction. And we loved the Sasquatch theme -- the slippers, the mugs -- lots of fun! We enjoyed the movie selection, as well - a relaxing way to unwind from a long hike. And, I think this was our first rental that featured a french press -- bonus! The location was great for Baker area activities; after arriving late Saturday afternoon, we made the trip up to Artist Point - around 30-40 minutes. Sunday we hiked Heliotrope Ridge - also about 30-40 minutes; the national forest road leading to the trailhead was conveniently just a couple miles from Sasquatch. We would definitely stay here again! A few tips for travelers - -- The cabin has neither Internet nor cell service. You may be able to get a cell signal in town, but plan activities ahead of time. -- The kitchen, while well stocked with appliances, utensils, and pots and pans, isn't stocked with your basic food essentials - oil, butter, etc. So, be sure to bring these if cooking. -- There are a couple small grocery stores nearby - more like convenience stores. If you're buying a lot of food, try to swing through Qfc or Safeway beforehand; you'll save a few bucks."
