  • Great escape into the forest

"My family and I had an amazing trip out to this Cabin for a weekend in October. The Chalet is extremely well kept, and a great design for lounging around and entertaining. I would, and plan to stay here again. The host was quick to respond when we had a question. Not a very far drive from Bellingham, but you will feel like you are hours away and secluded once you get there. A great starting point to enjoy baker for the day as well, I would say you are about 35 minutes from the lower lodge. All of the appliances worked, the hot tub was ready to go when we got there, it felt like home within minutes of our arrival."

  • It was nice, simple, and functioned well for our group..

"We came in rite as the power went out. It was difficult to find the address mainly because of the power out.: There was 2 feet of snow in the driveway and a sizable berm. We had to shovel a lot to fit both cars in the driveway.. understandable considering the amount of snow and crazy storms that week.. the power was out for 24 hrs.. all the flashlights and candles had empty batteries, with no spares and all the obvious areas ( hallway closets were locked) .. that was very inconvenient.. also , not having a proper spice rack with basic cooking spices ( salt n pepper ) etc.. was challenging.. the tv with 5 different controllers and the directions to use them was the most frustrating thing ever.. took 4 of us about 2 hours to finally figure out the built in movie option.. the gate was also challenging being that we had 2 cars in our group.. I had to get out every time and open the gate for car behind me. The shower part on the upstairs bathtub wasn't working either.. and every time we used it for a bath, it would drain the hot water tank.. other than all that, it was great and I would stay there again, but prob upgrade to a house with a jacuzzi.. thank you"

  • Cozy and well laid out cabin in the woods.

"We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. Beautiful setting, remote enough to be a getaway but also close enough to skiing and necessities. The inside is nicely furnished and laid out. The kitchen was nice and easy to work in. The open concept made it for a nice interactive space. The hottub was good. Could use floor lamps for better lighting and bring your own towels. But washer/dryer and dishwasher worked well and we're handy. Highly recommend for family mountain getaway."
