  • Wonderfully relaxing time in the PNW

"We had a wonderful stay at the Sasquatch Mountain Cottage! Everything was as advertised - clean, modern, new construction. And we loved the Sasquatch theme -- the slippers, the mugs -- lots of fun! We enjoyed the movie selection, as well - a relaxing way to unwind from a long hike. And, I think this was our first rental that featured a french press -- bonus! The location was great for Baker area activities; after arriving late Saturday afternoon, we made the trip up to Artist Point - around 30-40 minutes. Sunday we hiked Heliotrope Ridge - also about 30-40 minutes; the national forest road leading to the trailhead was conveniently just a couple miles from Sasquatch. We would definitely stay here again! A few tips for travelers - -- The cabin has neither Internet nor cell service. You may be able to get a cell signal in town, but plan activities ahead of time. -- The kitchen, while well stocked with appliances, utensils, and pots and pans, isn't stocked with your basic food essentials - oil, butter, etc. So, be sure to bring these if cooking. -- There are a couple small grocery stores nearby - more like convenience stores. If you're buying a lot of food, try to swing through Qfc or Safeway beforehand; you'll save a few bucks."

  • Well kept convenient cabin!

"We had a few issues with the cabin that were essentially out of the owner's control-- were due to the freezing temperatures the few days before we arrived. Marc was responsive and helped us work through the issues in a timely manner. The cabin is beautiful, the fireplace is awesome, hot tub is awesome, kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. The beds were comfy. The extra large closets with beds in them are actually pretty big! One has a full sized fouton in it (space for 2 but would be tight) and the other essentially has a queen mattress on the floor of the closet. We actually chose to pull the mattress out of the closet and put it into the large master bedroom as the closet ceiling is sloping, get a little low so the couple sleeping there thought it would be less claustrophic. It worked for us!"

  • Great spot for a ski weekend

"We really enjoyed this property with our family and friends. The management company was friendly and helpful. And the hot tub and sauna were great after long days of skiing."
