  • Lovely weekend getaway

"We had an amazing Labor day getaway here - 2 days was not enough! A group of 11 of us were relaxing, visiting family in Bellingham, and celebrating the upcoming birth of my first child. The house was amazingly spacious and well laid out. The covered deck with the fireplace is perfect for year-round fun. Being right on the lake, there was no reason to leave. We spent one day just kayaking and canoeing around. One person even caught a super tiny fish right off the dock! I will mention that 2 of the bedrooms with queen sized beds are connected. Couples needing a bit more privacy should be aware. That being said everyone had a bed and no one had to sleep on the couch which made everyone happy. The owners were incredibly nice and great at communicating. We also found the neighbors to be quite pleasant and friendly. We had an amazing time and would love to come back!"

  • Beautiful week on Lopez

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house! The location is ideal. It is close enough to Lopez Village to bike there easily, and Spencer Spit is only a mile away. The huge lawn with a view of the sound is awesome for playing games like badminton and volleyball! We brought our dog with and were happy to find out that there is also a fenced in area for your dog to run around a bit while you are home. The kitchen is awesome, with really beautiful appliances - especially for a rental. There are so many games to play, and puzzles to work on that you don't need to bring your own. The walk to the beach is very short, and although it is steep but we had no problem getting our kayaks down. You will see deer in the early morning and evenings. Also, a blue heron likes to sit down by the waters edge. Seals were spotted too! The beds are comfortable and it is very quiet at night here. The only thing that I would recommend for the owner if they plan on renovating in the future is that it would be great if there was one more bathroom, preferably not attached to a bedroom. Right where the game room is now would be ideal! We would definitely stay here again."

  • Great family vacation

"We really enjoyed our two weeks at Saltaire. It was a great place for a family vacation. The house was perfect to house our family including the 4 bedrooms. We had grandparents, parents, young adults, teenagers and a two year old. We all loved the easy access to the beach and the wonderful hot tub where we watched the fireworks on July 4th. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the barbecue often. It was great to have a washer and dryer which were well used. The family made use of the bikes. We went forn great walks. Each morning we would wake up to see the Eagles in the tree in front of the house. On two occasions we saw whales going by right from our patio. The weather was great, shopping was close, restaurants near. Never took more than five minutes to drive anywhere in Point Roberts.we loved having the yard and garbage collection looked after. Both the private back patio and the front patio were well used. The back patio was enclosed and great for the two year old to play bubbles and ball games and be in a safe and protected space. The front patio was wonderful to sunbathe, have meals sit and enjoy the magnificent view. All in all it was a terrific two weeks. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home."

  • It was a relaxing and cozy stay. We would recommend the property to others.

"We had a relaxing two night stay at the Crow's Nest. It is a remote, quiet spot. We flew into Westsound on Kenmore Air and were kindly greeted by the property owners. The space is clean and has all the necessities. There is a peaceful view from the deck. We recommend having a car to make trips around the island a little easier. Overall a nice experience that we would recommend to others."
