  • Outstanding!

"This home was perfectly appointed for 6 adults and six children. The kitchen and baths had all the extras that make a vacation comfortable. We all dined, slept, and played to our hearts' content! Our crew left beautiful Lopez Island with a lifelong happy memory. Thank you!"

  • Relaxing weekend away with friends

"I decided to gather 9 of my closest friends for a weekend getaway just outside the city. Heading up to Guemes island was a mixture of fun adventure and relaxing getaway. We were able to enjoy our time and below I'll provide the pros/cons and my tips for future vacationers. Pros: The ferry was short, cheap, and travels across often. There was practically no noise, traffic, or other people around at all during our stay, the house is completely surrounded and feels very private. The house was very spacious and provided exactly what we needed for a short weekend away, including some board games and the garage entertainment (pool/ping pong) was greatly appreciated. The back deck is very spacious and it was very easy to accommodate everyone for relaxing and chatting in a large circle. The yard is also very spacious and can easily have multiple people running around at once. Cons: (Most of these cons were a result of me and not the house) There are only a few outdoor chairs, so bring some if you like to lounge. The ferry can only hold 20-22 cars at a time so get there a little early otherwise you may have to wait. There was no outdoor fire pit, which would have been really fun but again there was never one promised so I can't be upset about not having one. The propane tank was empty but we filled it at the local store and the home-owner reimbursed us, yay! Pro-tips: Do your research on the ferry schedule and get there 20-25 minutes early. Pack plenty of chairs and everything you'll need to enjoy they weekend (outdoor games, drinks, water, etc...). If you can't find the ping pong paddles look in the drawers by the garage sink... trust me... they are there! I recommend bringing flip flops or slippers since there is a lot of in and out of the back patio (lazy pro-tip). Bring fancy cooking utensils, the basics are there. The house was amazing and we had a great time, enjoy yourself and do the 1.1 mile Guemes Mountain hike, it was beautiful."

  • Love this lake house

"We spent 3 wonderful days at this wonderful Lakeside Cabin. We wished we could have stayed longer. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything you could possibly need. The beach access provides good access for paddling if you bring your own equipment. We brought our own float toys and spent lots of time in the water. The large deck is great for early morning coffee and late night dinners and dancing. Terri was great and if we needed anything she was right there."

  • Spectacular location, intimate cabin

"Erinn's getaway is a well maintained, fun and functional rustic-style cabin that quickly makes you feel at home. The view into the bay is beautiful, and the cabin is surprisingly packed with amenities and even came with a bundle of wood for use in the patio fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for those that dine in, and the town of La Conner sports a variety of eateries of surprisingly great quality. We ate in tpwn at Nell Thorn's, the Brewery, and built our own Bloody Mary's at Amelia's. All were delicious! Spent a relaxing afternoon strolling the shops, wine tasting, and enjoying the charm of La Conner and the shop keepers. I would not hesitate to stay here again, especially given its accessibility to the greater Seattle area. Thanks for your attention to details and making it such a great weekend Erinn! - Mike"
