  • It was nice, very cozy, had everything we needed.

"Jack and Irene were awesome. Booking the property was easy, the got back to me promptly with any questions I had. The place was stocked well, lots of towels, and had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks again!"

  • Beautiful waterfront home!

"We loved our time on Lummi Island, and this was a perfect home base. The house was beautiful, well-equipped and simply delightful. We found things just as we expected to. The short walk to the beach was perfect. The view from the (many) decks was peaceful. The openness of the home allowed our family great time together. We would happily return again! Lummi Island is a great place for a serene stay. We enjoyed exploring our own beach and others (especially near the church on the west side of the island) and we enjoyed hiking in one of the three preserves on the island. People on the island were friendly."

  • Great weekend, even without perfect weather

"It was a bit cold and damp, but there were stacks of firewood and we cooked and admired the views. So much birdsong, it felt like Hawaii. Spotted a bald eagle when we arrived and spent a lazy weekend watching more intrepid types fishing and boating. Next time we come hopefully we will have better weather and can enjoy the outdoors, but it is no show-stopper. Note, there are quite a few stairs to get to the chalet. The view is worth it, but those stairs are probably not for everyone. This would be a great place for kids too."

  • Exploring the San Juans with Family

"What a wonderful place to stay to explore the San Juans. The view is absolutely exquisite, it was clean, and offers everything you could possibly need in a "home away from home." We are from the east and have two grown sons who reside in the northwest, one in Seattle and one on Whidbey Island. Having visited several other parts of the State of Washington we decided on exploring the San Juan Islands, using Anacortes as a base. It was just perfect as it is extremely close to the ferries. I can highly recommend this rental. Thank you Elisabeth!"
