  • Incredible views from this comfy and beautiful cabin!

"We really enjoyed the functional layout of the house and the prime location in Sister Bay. The weather was pretty dreary and many places are not yet open for the season in Door County this time of year, but we were happy using the hot tub, hiking down behind the house along the frozen bay, and playing board games at home. Sandy is so helpful and quick to correspond as well. We definitely were able to depressurize for a few days, which was just what we needed. We will certainly be back! Thanks Sandy!"

  • What a GREAT rental!!!

"This house is a real treat. Six friends rented it for 3 nights. We totally enjoyed catching up on the front porch and later in the cozy living room. The bedrooms are comfortable and easy to move into. The kitchen includes a drinks bar area, so we could have 2 coffee pots going for the caf and decaf choices. Fun to watch people on the dock area and were happy we didn't have to fight them for parking spots. Just 2 doors up from Al Johnson and the famous goats and pancakes. We'll be back!! Thanks Annika for sharing this gem with us."

  • Great location!

"This 2 bedroom is in a great location just a block away from the lake with a great view out the living room window. It is in walking distance to go downtown to restaurants and shops. Had a great time."

  • Quiet modern comfort

"The photos on the website cannot give the proper perspective this house deserves. It's beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. The many windows and simple lines of the house reminded me of a modern European home. Wood accents abound, there is a clean easily-maintained fireplace that we used daily, and the bathtub on the first floor is made for soaking with arm rests, perfect depth and heat lamps to keep the bather cozy. Among our favorite elements was its simplicity. There are a few bits of decor here and there, but the house doesn't overwhelm with kitsch. The kitchen is functional and clean. One drawback might be the lack of window coverings of any kind on the first floor. The windows could use blinds for privacy and for heat preservation. A friend and I stayed at this property in March, when there was neither snow nor warm weather, but the house offered comfort to make up for that. We'd love to stay in summer, when we could have fires in the fire pit and enjoy the large deck."
