Four bedroom house (actually two separate houses) with three bathrooms. Swimming pool in back yard and you walk onto sand off of the front porch!

75% of property covered by shade of palm and tropical trees. Ten hammocks to hang between numerous trees.

Pool has a fountain and a table with seats surrounded by jets.

Two story gazebo adjacent to beach edge which has stunning views of a kilometer long beach. Colorful sunsets.

House is secure with a caretaker with his wife who live in a small house on the edge of the property. Caretaker's wife can cook and clean the kitchen for a small supplement.

The house is surrounded by walls and fences for privacy.

House is on a 22,000 square foot lot.
Large bedrooms with high ceilings and large bathrooms.

Numerous palm trees with coconuts.

Small store nearby. Local fishermen rent out their boats inexpensively and can take you to nearby islands and beaches.

Fresh fish, lobster and shrimp available from the local fishermen.

House is located on Playa Maculis, which is five minutes from El Tamarindo, ten minutes from Playa las Tunas and 35 minutes from the city of La Union. One hour from San Miguel.

Transportation can be arranged to and from airport for a fee, which is two hours and fifteen minutes away. Driver and vehicle can also be arranged.

The beach, Maculis, is one of the most beautiful in El Salvador. It is somewhat undeveloped and is rarely crowded. As the beach is protected by a reef, there are no rip tides and it is safe to swim at this beach.

  • The owner will work with you to make this one of your most memorable vacations. He arranged for transportation to and from the airport, caretaker service (cleaning, cooking), and recommendations for regional sightseeing for a taste of El Salvadorean culture. The home is very comfortable, whether you're a pool aficionado or love the salt water of the ocean. Both are mere steps from your bedroom door. The bedrooms are separated to provide the maximum amount of privacy. One of the best attractions is the two story palapa. I spent many days just lazing around in one of the several hammocks watching the tide go in and out, reading or just taking nap after nap. A great place to soak up the Central American sun!

  • This is a wonderful beach house; the beach is 100 feet beyond the fence. Local fishermen sell their catch at crazy low prices; there is a wonder care taker who lives on the property to cook the fresh fish. Relaxing at the pool bar with Margaritas and friends allows time to just slip away. You can see the sun set on the water and if you watch close you can see the splash. Due to the position of the house on the lot, a cool ocean breeze is constantly blowing through the open atmosphere of the house. I recommend this beach house to anyone interested in visiting Central America

  • The house is very comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen. The hammocks are especially nice to lay in and read under the shade of the many palm trees. The stretch of beach in front of the house is very clean and the water is inviting. The caretaker and his small family are very friendly people. The owner was great to work with.

  • INCREDIBLE PLACE, YOU HAVE THE BEACH ALL FOR YOURSELF, THERE'S SO MUCH TO DO AROUND LIKE SNORKLING, BIKING(BRING YOUR OWN),HIKING PLAY HORSE SHOES, EAT FRESH FISH: THERE ARE FISHERMEN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, OR JUST LAY ON THE HAMMOCKS AND DRINK BEER, I FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE CORONA COMMERCIAL. CARETAKERS WILL SPOIL YOU.

  • This place is great! Swimming pool in the back yard and the beach in the front yard. Large lot with privacy. Watched the sunset every night from the two story gazebo. Layed in the hammocks. Pool was nice with the fountain and the table and jets in the pool. This place is a great get away.
