Quality and luxury abound in this lovely first floor golf villa, just awarded a PLATIMUM rating by Resort Quest Rentals. This villa is just steps away from the community pool (which is heated early in the season) and overlooking the Bear Trap Dunes golf course. The villa is perfect for two couples or a family. The beach is within a bike ride or take the community shuttle to the beach in the summer. Amenities abound in the community, making this a perfect place for a week-long vacation or a weekend getaway. Wireless internet is now available from the villa.
This custom decorated villa has two bedrooms, (queen in the master, two twins in the other), two baths, and a great room with a gas fireplace, that includes a queen-size sofa bed. Each bedroom has a TV as well as the living room which is equiped with surround sound - great for watching movies or your favorite sporting team. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, the perfect place for the family to gather after a full day of activities, or gather around the dining room table for a family game night.
There is a closet full of games and puzzles as well as a bookshelf filled with books, CDs and videos. Relax on the screened porch and enjoy a view of the pond or enjoy the evening sunset from the Adorondak chairs while sipping your favorite beverage.
For the family, Bear Trap Dunes is a family-friendly resort, with plenty of place to ride bikes and take leisurely walks. The pavilion offers an outdoor pool (in season) as well as an indoor pool, fitness center with heated pool, hot tub, saunas and exercise room, five har-tru tennis courts and a game room. Our condo is located directly in front of one of the two community pools, or take the shuttle (in season) to the beach. There is an additional usage fee for pool and shuttle use.
For the golfers, Bear Trap Dunes is a championship 27 hole golf course that is featured in Golf Digest. (Green fees are not included in rental). The Clubhouse features a well-stocked Pro Shop, as well as a perfect place to relax after golf at the bar or have a full course meal at The Bistro.
For the shoppers, "sales tax free" Delaware is known for outlet shopping in nearby Rehoboth Beach. In addition, there are wonderful shops and boutiques in Bethany Beach and the surrounding beach towns. Ocean City, Maryland and Assateaque Island are just a short distance drive along the coast or take the Cape May-Lewes ferry to Cape May, New Jersey for a day trip.

We have a strict 'No smoking' and 'No pets' policy. Nightly rentals, three night minimum plus and additional $55 cleaning fee. All rentals have an additional 5% occupancy tax enacted by the Town of Ocean View.
Linens are not provided, however we can give you a rental source upon request.

Year Purchased: 2004
Our primary home is in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania - a short 3 hour drive from Bear Trap. We have adult children and grandchildren who love to spend time at Bear Trap, especially when the pool is open. The beach is calling us and we plan to retire to the Delaware beach area within the next few years.
Why the Owner Chose Bear Trap Dunes
We purchased our golf villa when Bear Trap was in it's developing stages. We are the first owners of our villa and were fortunate to pick out the finishes and upgrades while it was being built. We love the Bethany area and the Bear Trap community has so much to offer and is meticulously maintained.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Bear Trap is so conveniently located to everything, but far enough away to feel like you are really on a peaceful vacation. There are great restaurants, grocery stores, shopping at the outlets and of course the beach in Bethany. We are close enough to ride your bike, so bring them along. There is a bike rack to store them directly across the parking lot right next to the pool. The pool is just steps from our condo and it is heated in the early summer. Our condo is so well equipped, we have more things in our kitchen at the condo then do we in our own kitchen!

We really enjoyed our time at Bear Trap last summer. We have stayed at 3 different locations in the community and this was by far the best. The furnishings are great and the place is very well stocked, not to menion spotless. In addition, the owners are delight to work with. I reccommend this rental without hesitation and hope to visit again soon.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
