Why the Owner Chose Ocean Creek, Fripp Cottages
We are "beach people" even though we live most of our lives in the midwest. One year we did not get to the beach at all and we realized how much we missed it. It was then that we decided we wanted to have a place at the beach so we would never have an excuse to go a year without some quality beach time! We bought at Fripp because it had resort amenities and comforts, was affordably priced and the beach setting was wonderful.
The Unique Benefits at this House
For us, we love walking the beach in the morning, tennis mid morning, afternoon crafts at the Activity Center and swimming at the Cabana Club. The kids love boogie boarding in the great waves (typically the waves are awesome for SC) or skim boarding on the quiet surf. And it is a surprising delightful family fun activity each tuesday at 4:30 to go to the church and play Bingo (something we would never do in our busy lives at home!). Another fun activity is after the golf has all been played, walking out onto the 17th fairway behind our home and take in the most glorious array of stars and planets at night. Truly amazing!

My husband and I and two other couples spent a week at this lovely cottage on Fripp Island in November. The 3-bedrooms and 3 baths assured privacy, and the common areas were most inviting. The property was clean and well-maintained. The interior decor was most appealing, and the accommodations were most comfortable. We highly recommend this as a superior vacation getaway for families or friends!
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Rick and Cindy, I just wanted to touch base and let you know that your beach home is lovely. We had a wonderful week last week at Fripp. Everything was wonderful. Your home provided excellent accommodations for us for our stay. We are sad that our week in paradise is now over!
