This house is the one you will return to time and time again, in a quiet neighborhood in Rockport, Texas. The house is beautiful, fresh and clean and has a quaint, comfortable beach house feel. Take your pick from the Purple Cat room, the Tropical Hawaiian room or the Master suite.
Cook breakfast in the kitchen or lunch on the grill and enjoy it on the patio, watching all of the native birds. You can go to the beach or take a dip out back and float in the water or even take a ride in our two man kayak or go by yourself in our one man kayak, out to Estes Flats which is some of the best fishing and duck hunting in South Texas. The house is surrounded by lush tropical foliage and a garden. Our house is perfect for relaxing on the porch or sunning your buns in the backyard.
The Palm Harbor Marina is walking distance from the house were you can buy bait, have lunch or explore the inter-coastal shore line.
There is ample fishing off the bulkhead in back of the house or a spacious area to tie up your own boat were it is waiting for you to jump in it and go catch the big ones. A green-light in the water attracts all sorts of fish at night and also you can light up the fireplace for your enjoyment, under the beautiful starry night skies.
We are located about 5 minutes from Rockport and about 25 minutes from Port Aransas and Corpus Christi. The area has great restaurants that can grill what you catch or serve fantastic seafood.
Remember, we are on the GOOD side of the canal for you folks who love to be on the porch in the evening ejoying the view and your favorite beverage in the hot summer.

Our family came together at Paradise found for the holidays this year. The house and furnishings were so comfy and upscale for all 7 of us. The beds were very comfortable and had nice linens and we had ample towels for our group. We cooked almost every night and had sufficient kitchen wares, pots and pans and utensils. Our weather the first week was amazing and we enjoyed being outside and on the dock. The birds were amazing and landing right in front on the canal. Our 2nd week was cooler weather wise and forced us indoors to enjoy some games, reading, cooking and even completing a huge puzzle !! Because of the cool, wet weather, we visited the local Maritime museum which was so interesting, the Rockport aquarium, and toured the Fulton mansion. The aquarium in Corpus Christi was outstanding and the USS Lexington battleship was a favorite for my husband and grandson. We did celebrate my daughter's birthday at Charlotte Plummers which was excellent and an anniversary dinner was had at Latitude 28 02 which is part of an art gallery which was wonderful!! My kids enjoyed the Rockport donut shop several times. We loved doing our shopping at HEB's and found this store awesome!!! All in all, we had a wonderful stay. The only negatives were the cool, wet weather which prevented any fishing, and also it might be nice to have a rollaway bed available in one of the rooms for that extra single guest. Also, the BBQ was a little rusted, but usable. The grounds around the house are so well landscaped and beautiful and make the house so much more attractive. Our two week stay was very comfortable and totally accessible to all tourist spots and local areas. The owners were totally accessible by phone and checked in with us which we appreciated.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this Rockport home! The home and location was just as described, and it was obvious that the owner was thoughtful in providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had 5 adults (2 parents and 3 adult children) and 2 dogs, and there was plenty of room for us! For the pets, the yard is not fully fenced, so that was the only small drawback. The guys in our group used the fishing guide recommended by the owner and had a fun and successful day of fishing on the bay. It is just a short drive to both Rockport Beach and Port Aransas which was terrific! Mom spent the day alone at Rockport Beach with her Kindle and it was perfect. We spent time at the beaches in both Port A and Rockport, the guys golfed in Port A, and the rest of the time we fished from the bulkhead or relaxed on the patio. If you have a boat, which we didn't, this is even more ideal for you - you have a spot to tie up and easy access to the bay. I highly recommend this property, and we plan to return in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

My family and I had a wonderful time this pass weekend at your lovely home. We got to relax, fish, kick back and just enjoy. The younger ones enjoyed taking the kayaks out and totally enjoyed it. We fished by the light at night and caught some trout. You guys have the house set up so nice. Just like the pictures on the listing. Everything was great. Will definitely look you up when we visit Rockport again and we will recommend you to any friends coming that way.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

3 couples from Texas spent 5 days in this really comfortable home. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this well equiped home for anyone looking for a fun vacation on the canal. We did a little fishing and alot of relaxing. Beautiful home, with two bedrooms and bath upstairs and one bedroom and two baths downstairs. Immaculate inside and out; garden is a nice touch. The owners were very helpful. The refrigerator was brand new, and the beds were very comfortable. The photos on the website are very accurate. It really does look that good. We have never stayed in the same place twice, but we plan to stay here again next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay here. This house has a good location for what we wanted. Wonderful back yard on the canal. The only problem we had was the futon cover was extremely dirty and we weren't able to sit on it, otherwise the rest of the house was clean and well managed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

So sorry the weather was not good for y'all, I hate it that I can not control that part but hopefully next time it will be better. I will get another frying pan as I do have a baby electric fryer as well. The toaster oven is new for toast but I will get one of those plug in push down toasters for sure. Thanks for letting me know and we look forward to you coming again and hope the weather will be beautiful for you as I has been marvelous here as of late.

About the owner: Calvin and I just love our home, Paradise Found. We take pride in making it a wonderful Vacation house for our Guest to come to and have a wonderful time. We just love it when our Grandbabies come and stay with us and enjoy fishing off the bulkhead in the Green Light and Wyatt our Grandboy says, "Papa, you caught good fish, yum yum", Good Job Papa. Life is good at Paradise Found, come and enjoy!!!

Calvin and I just love to hang out on the porch and enjoy the water and wild life. It is very relaxing as we wait for our fishing pole, down on the bulkhead, to bend over as we run down to real in our caught. Then we go to our garden to pick some arugala for a fabulous salad to go with our fresh cooked fish.
