This facility is an authentic log cabin built by an East Texas family over 60 years ago. Once we moved it onto our property, we restored it and updated it with modern features - making it a great blend of new and old. The original mortar and logs are still in place, but we added central heat and air, a full kitchen with accessories, plumbing, Satellite TV, and VCR with a movie library. It has a large front porch that's perfect for relaxing. It's a great place for families, fishermen, or even a couple looking for a cozy escape to get away from it all.
The log cabin is conveniently located in the midlake area near the Highway 147 Bridge, nestled in a peaceful setting surrounded by pine trees. While there is no access to the water, the Cassels-Boykin boat ramp is less than one mile from the cabin. We offer a clean, comfortable, non-smoking environment that makes you want to stay. We offer all of the comforts of home, along with great amenities that you won't find anywhere else around the lake. You'll also get the best fishing tips on the lake from owner/professional tournament angler Jeff Buchanan, who aims to make sure all of our guests are catching fish! |
