"MERINGUE COTTAGE", is a fabulous year round getaway. The view is breathtaking! From the living room, kitchen, or deck, you will see Beaver Lake, wildlife, and the beautiful hardwood forest of the Ozarks. The sunsets are spectacular!
Meringue Cottage is the alternative to the lodge look, for those who enjoy a lighter, brighter decor, and is a 5 room cottage, not a 1 room cabin.
The tone on tone color palate gives you a comfortable and relaxed feeling. The living room has vaulted ceiling with lots of windows and mirrors, and high ceilings through out. The Taylor Scott slip covered furniture is from Beverly Hills, and unbelievably comfortable. The sofa has a queen size sleeper inside. The propane fireplace is great on chilly nights. The DirecTV satellite service features multiple movie channels, along with Both Los Angeles and New York network channels, also XM radio.
The master bed room has a King size bed with luxurious linens, closet, coat rack, his and hers lamps, original art, and mirror.
The upstairs bed room has a double bed, with more great linens and furnishings.
The bath room has a Jacuzzi tub, fluffy towels, blow dryer, Caldrea all natural, lotion, and soap.
The kitchen and dining area are decorated in a contemporary country style, with range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, mixer, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, coffee pot and coffee, wine bucket and opener, tea pot, towels, and Caldrea kitchen soap.
The deck has a propane Bar-B-Que, and nice table and chairs.
We supply an ironing board and iron and all natural Caldrea cleaning supplies. Washer and dryer are also available.

We were very lucky to find a diamond in the rough. We enjoyed the very serene atmosphere we had while staying in the cottage. Everything from the decor to the bedding was perfect. My husband and I needed a nice get away from the 'big' city life and this definitely fulfilled every aspect of it. We will definitely visit again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed here Sunday night & Monday of Labor Day weekend. It was so much more than we expected. The house was immaculate & the bed was very comfortable; it even has an upstairs room that was comfy looking and inviting, but we didn't need that. The view from the window of the living room was gorgeous, and we enjoyed watching movie after movie with the provided Dish stations... The ride to town was beautiful & not more than 15 minutes from Eureka Springs. This was a great find...truly a "gem of the Ozarks"....you don't want to miss this one...

We did a last minute getaway to this cabin and had an incredible time. The cottage is so warm, great views and very convenient to Eureka Springs and other areas. I would highly recommend this to anyone. There was boating, fishing, hiking, relaxing, sitting on the wonderful deck. This is such a great find and when we have the opportunity to go back we will stay here, location is fantastic!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Meringue Cottage. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. Peaceful, lovely, private with soul-soothing amenities. If you want to get away and relax, this is the place.

The cottage was absolutely lovely. We are very discriminating travelers where accomodations are concerned, and we were very pleased. The decor is charming, the linens heavenly, and the owners were delightful. Breakfast, and evening barbeques on the deck were enhanced with panoramic forest and distant lake views. We would definitely recommend Meringue Cottage and plan on returning in the future.
