This spacious 4 bedroom condo is perfect for large groups or families. With over 1900 sq. ft. and 2 master bedrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax after a long day on the slopes. Located in the Timbers, which is one of two true ski-in/ski-out luxury condominiums in Keystone, it features granite counter tops, slate floors, deluxe kitchen appliances, a 47" flat screen TV, and more.
The location is ideal: this quiet 4th floor corner unit faces the forest and is just steps away from the ski slopes, while River Run Village is only a short five minute walk, where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants and festivities.
The four bedrooms include two master bedrooms, each with king beds and private bathrooms with tile showers and double vanities. The third bedroom has a queen bed, plus a wall mounted flat screen TV. The fourth bedroom has a twin bunk bed with a TV and DVD/VCR, making this a great kids room. A third bathroom is located directly off the entry and includes a tile shower. To further accommodate families or large groups, we have provided two high quality queen sized air mattresses.
The main living area is shared by the kitchen, living, and dining rooms, separated by a granite island. The focus of the living room is the flat screen TV mounted above the fireplace. Sink into the comfortable leather couch and chairs to enjoy a DVD, cable program, or movie on HBO. The built-in sound system can pipe high fidelity sound from any source (DVD, TV, CD, or even an MP3 player - an iPod dock is provided) to any room in the condo.

Map & Owner's Profile
Spacious 4BR Ski-in/Ski-Out Luxury
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose River Run, Timbers
We have skied in many different Colorado resorts, but Keystone has always been our favorite. The mountain is laid out very well: you don't have to pole to get from one area to another. There is a good mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs (and tree skiing), but our favorites are the many long blue "cruiser" runs. Night skiing is another added perk at Keystone; it allows you to get even more hours on the slopes, or gives you time for an afternoon nap.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The convenience of true ski-in/ski-out is fantastic, especially when skiing with a large group that includes children. People can come and go as they please, stop in to warm up, get a bite to eat (or drink), or catch a quick nap. Once you experience ski-in/ski-out lodging, you can never go back. The Timbers is an exclusive, luxurious condominium, with only 29 units, heated underground parking, and high-end build quality. Many times of the year, we feel like we have the place to ourselves. It is off the beaten path (so you don't hear the ruckus from River Run or the slopes), but it is close enough to walk to all the action in a few minutes.
This 4-person high speed lift is the fastest way to the top of Dercum mountain, and you can ski to it in less than a minute from the Timbers
Owner's Map of River Run, Timbers
My wife and I both grew up (and still live) in Nebraska, but we have always loved the mountains. When we were younger, we came out whenever we could to ski. Once our kids became old enough, we began taking them on ski trips too. Ski trips with our extended family is something we and our children look forward to every year. We also enjoy the beauty (and lack of humidity) of the summer in Keystone too!

Wonderful condo on the slopes at Keystone

Fantastic place and wonderful hosts. Gail was easy to deal with and very helpful throughout the process. The place itself is wonderful - great location (a 2 story elevator ride and 50 foot walk and you are ready to ski down to the Gondola at Keystone), well furnished and comfortable accommodations (great kitchen, inviting living room, and lots of room to spread out and get comfortable). Ski in ski out was a real luxury, and the outdoor hot tub at the Timbers was a welcome respite after a day of skiing. Keystone is a great mountain with long wide cruisers and challenging moguls for the mogul lover. Highly recommended - will book again!

This condo was perfect! The proximity to the slopes was ideal and The Timbers and condo itself were beautifully designed with great amenities. We had ample room for our two families and loved having the convenience of our own kitchen and entertainment close to the slopes. We fell in love with Keystone and would definitely recommend this condo to family and friends.

We stayed here just before christmas 2010 - just as described and more. Very helpful owners and very responsive, very large/beautiful unit in a rare ski in /ski out location in keystone (we know - we used to have a townhouse in keystone). We also found the staff in the building to be visible and helpful throughout our stay.
