We invite you and your family to come and enjoy our beautifully renovated villa cottage. Our villa cottage offers a comfortable, tropical décor which will set the mood for an exciting and relaxing vacation.
Our bottom floor location will allow you to park your vehicle just a few short steps from our door.
When you enter our villa cottage you will find a well equipped kitchen that will enable you to create mouth watering dishes from the abundant supply of fresh seafood in the area. A supply of fresh linen and towels are also readily available for your use.
This tropical resort features 114 unique Caribbean-Style villa cottages with all your personal use amenities. This is not a high-rise condo. It is your very own villa cottage located in a gated community, surrounding a 5000 square foot tropical oasis swimming pool with a waterfall cave and an island jacuzzi. The pool is surrounded by over 100 palm trees and tropical landscaping to allow you to enjoy your Caribbean vacation, right here on Perdido Key. The pool-side covered pavillion is available for a break from the pool and sun!
The Purple Parrot Village Resort features an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna, along with a fitness center with all new workout equipment.

I have been going to the Purple Parrot several times a year since it's opening and loved the place so much, I decided to purchase this unit and eventually another one. I have made so many life long friends in Perdido. It is truly like going "home" when I go to visit.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Beautifully kept resort, friendly staff, clean, quiet. Perfect setting for family get away. It was close to everything but private if you wanted to stay in and relax . Our condo was everything that was listed it was clean and well kept. I will be staying there many times in the future. This was not a vacation for me I was in town for my daughters wedding and the resort was the perfect setting for the rehearsal dinner and the brides pre-wedding pictures. I would recommend this resort and this condo and owner to anyone looking for a nice, clean and reasonably priced lodging. I am so glad I did not get the hotel.

I spent a long weekend here for my 25th birthday. It was absolutely perfect! I was initially worried I wouldn't like not being on the beach but I actually loved the location because of the large pool and sand area_ so fun. The one bedroom one bath is very nice and clean. Everything that you see is what you get. Perfect for 4 people. All of my friends and I agreed that this place was the perfect girls getaway!

Adorable unit, immaculately clean! Very West Indies style decor, (Think Tommy Bahama meets Florida chic!) Plenty of room for a family of four, sofa pulls out to roomy bed. The washer and dryer are stacked but are full size. The tiki bar is lively, there are always a few kids around ready to play a game of "marco polo" or beach volley ball (yes! there are two volleyball courts on the property) Did not find the pool rules a problem, (I read about them ahead of time, the unit is so close to pool you can just go home to eat!) It was a short drive to the gulf (we could have ridden bikes but were to lazy!) The unit was stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and even an umbrella! We are looking forward to booking another fun vacation at the Purple Parrot!!

The oil spill squashed our sailing school plans til the fall, but man did we luck out on an alternative. We have a cottage listed on VRBO and I have found that being nice and accomodating people is half the fun of the business, and Lisa did just that. The surroundings relaxing, the place just right for a couple of 50's folks, the pool area was relaxing, and access to the public beaches are very close by. Grocery just down road, good restaurants close by. Couldn't ask for a better fit. Thanks Lisa for accomodating Suzanne and I last minute.

This was a great stay. The weather was supposed to be terrible but our last day was sunny and overcast and we all got sun-burned. Use sunscreen even in cloudy weather!! Ha Ha. The condo is the cutest little place and is very cozy! We recommend eating at The Oyster House, is great food. Pirates Golf and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo looks rinky-dink but was so awesome! "To The Wrights" At this condo at the Purple Parrot All we could do was sit and stare at The beauty of this place we've grown to love. We love the place! We were here on the coldest day of the year and still managed to have a great time! It's so convenient to everything in the area & it felt so much like home. Jan-Feb-March 2009 After spending 60 years of year round Northern Michigan weather we decided to head South! Too much snow and cold weather! This place has exceeded our expectations - WE LOVE IT HERE!!! We loved the near constant sunshine, beautiful beaches, friendly people, fresh shrimp, oysters & tomatoes, our new friends at the tiki bar & Amvets Post #12, the Naval Air Museum, Fort Barrancas, Joe Patti's and NO SNOW! Three months have flown by, time to head north (unfortunately it is STILL snowing at home!) Hope we can get through our driveway! This place feels like home. We hope we can come back next winter.
