What can we say?
It's perfect . . . Here’s everything you could want in a cabin. Sitting among the pines, our cabin is perfect for a quiet retreat or a family gathering. And because we share this cabin with family and friends when we are not enjoying it ourselves, you’ll be amazed with all the extras.
Located a few miles from Island Park reservoir and only 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and with miles of hiking, biking, ATV, and snowmobile trails right outside the front door, you’ll love the location and convenience.
What sets this cabin apart is the private location with plenty of room inside and out. If the kids don’t want to sleep outside on the large wrap-around deck, we have a full-size bed and a sofa bed on the loft and a sofa bed in the main living area. And for the wee little ones, we even have a pack-n-play crib!
We also provide a fully equipped kitchen and a propane barbecue grill. Whether you just want to make a quick breakfast before spending the day at Yellowstone or stay in and grill up a feast, you will find the kitchen ready for any task. Plus our washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter—saving more room for the pine cones and rocks your kids will want to take home.
With all the extras, you won’t want to leave this wonderful cabin. So go ahead . . . get ready for a vacation that everyone will enjoy! Don’t let this one get away! Call or email us if you would like more information.

"Best Christmas Ever," is how I would describe our truly memorable stay in this beautifully secluded cabin. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking; I'm not sure any photo would do it justice. It snowed every day we were there - we couldn't ask mother nature for anything better. Everyday life can get pretty hectic, and it's very easy to forget what is truly important - family. This vacation brought ours closer together, and we hope to go back. We traveled into town twice and made the mistake of eating out; we tried two different places. They were both expensive and the food was disgusting. The cabin's kitchen is stalked with everything you would need anyway, so do yourself a favor and don't eat out. We found it hard to come home, but find ourselves reminiscing frequently!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This cabin was in a beautiful stand of trees with horseshoe pits, gas barbecue and everything we needed. The best part was a huge table that we could fit all 13 of our family around. The cabin is only a 30 minute drive from boating at Island Park Reservoir and we also visited Yellowstone National park.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had an ideal vacation stay at the Idaho cabin. The cabin was clean, spacious, had all the amenities we could possibly need, and was in a location where you aren't "stacked" on top of your neighbors. We started each day with coffee on the front porch and planned out our day. We drove into Yellowstone most days and to the Grand Tetons on another day. Each day, there was plenty of hiking, exploring, and wildlife sightseeing to do. The drives were beautiful. This cabin is a great place for a few people up to a large gathering of people. We highly recommend this cabin!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This property was not cleaned before our arrival. We had to strip, wash sheets, then remake all the beds. The regrigerator made a horrible grinding sound that kept us up all night, for the duration of our stay. On our secong night a live bat flew at me in the kitchen. We were both terrified. Luckily, my ten year old caught it with her net, and relased it outside. I wish I knew this property was 15 miles from the I-20 BEFORE I paid my full amount. This trip takes 25 minutes. The last 2 miles are on unpaved roads. If I had known this ahead of time I would have choosen a different house. There is also no water for swimming or fun anywhere nearby. We ended up driving at least 40 miles just when we stayed "local". The drive to the West Gate of Yellowstone is over 40 miles, and takes most of an hour. Once you get there the cabin is comfortable, but there is NO phone service. We have both Verizon, and AT&T, and could not get a signal until we drove 10 miles. There is no land line for emergencies, either. The owner was vague about details when I asked questions, and now I understand why.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/2

We had a terrific time staying at your cabin. It was very well equipt, upkept, and comfortable. The kids had a great time catching tadpoles and frogs at the small pond down the road and riding fourwheelers. Very quiet and beautiful area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

The cabin was clean, wonderful, large and well stocked. Our party consisted of 17 total and the cabin comfortably held everyone. The big open room turned out to be ideal for cards, crafts and games. Although there were several TV's, we didn’t use them with all the other activities and touring of Yellowstone. The hammock was especially enjoyable. The kitchen, being large and well stocked, worked wonderfully for serving breakfast and dinner. Spices were even available. The cabin is 45 minutes from Yellowstone, but the drive ended up being very scenic. We actually saw a bear one evening on the return home. Having a washer and dryer was a nice perk. Overall an excellent experience. We would return. One note, follow the owner's directions to the cabin, not your GPS. We ended up on a dirt trail.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a fabulous time! My wife & I had our 6 adult children and 9 grandchildren there for a few days in August. Weather was perfect. Spent 2 days in Yellowstone, 1 day river rafting and the rest "kickin" around the cabin. Will definitely consider coming back again. Beautiful area and cabin is well stocked.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family stayed at this property in August 2011. The cabin provided all that we needed. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cooking tools, silverware, sheets, blankets, etc. It was very clean and well maintained. We loved the fire pit, swings, and horse shoes, and enjoyed exploring the area including Yellowstone (we found it took about 50 minutes to get to the west entrance). I would highly recommend this cabin.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We are a family that lives in Idaho Falls, ID. We have four children.
Why the Owner Chose Island Park:
We chose this cabin because it is 1.5 hours from our home and it its out away from other cabins. Our kids can run and have fun without disturbing those around us and without us having to constantly tell them no. It is a great family get away. When we are here we spend all our time together playing games, going to the lake, on walks, fishing, ATV rides and once or twice a year we go into Yellowstone. We love that it is a break from real life!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We love the wrap around deck! Pretty much anytime of year we spend time outside just enjoying the view and nature. We like that when we are outside all we hear are quite, natural sounds.
