Located on Av. Hidalgo directly downtown, Casa El Pío is a recently renovated 4-room hotel/apartment building. Completed in December of 2007, the property features 4 individual rooms which come equipped with either a queen or a full-size bed. All rooms except one (Room 3) come equipped with 2 beds.
Your studio-style room at Casa El Pío will be air-conditioned, bright and spacious with both a bedroom and a sitting area. More accommodating than a standard hotel room, there is also a mini-fridge and coffee maker, providing for the option of continental breakfast in your pajamas or DIY happy hours in the courtyard.
While not complete apartments since there are no full kitchens, the property is still more self-sufficient than a hotel. Daily maid service comes included (except Sundays) and there is a full-time, tri-lingual (English, German and Spanish) American caretaker for any needs that may arise during your stay.
Casa El Pío is conveniently located downtown just two blocks from the ferry terminal. The beach, restaurants, bars, a grocery store and shopping are all within 10 minutes' walking, though cab service and golf cart rentals are both convenient and affordable options to take you further.
