  Casa Pura Vida is truly a spectacular house. Its views of the ocean were breathtaking. My favorite spot was being in the warm roof top infinity pool looking at the sun setting behind the ocean as scarlet macaws were flying around. The spacious second floor offered equally beautiful views. It was wonderful to allow the outdoors in just by opening the bay windows, allowing hummingbirds to fly in out on occasion. The well-equipped kitchen permitted us to create delicious meals. This level also offered a spacious jacuzzi and a deck from which we could stargaze at night. The lower floor contained 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 of which opened onto a refreshing lap pool.  We also enjoyed the beautiful beach at the bottom of the hill. After having swam in the warm ocean, we tasted refreshing ceviche and margaritas at the beach restaurant while being visited by monkeys and coati mundis. We saw our first sloth at the nearby national park, and zip lined in close proximity to the house. One of my favorite moments was being on the roof top early in the morning, watching the macaws and toucans in the nearby trees. We truly had an amazing vacation and we look forward to going again soon!

  Enjoyed my stay at this beautiful relaxing home. Everything was clean and well maintained. I took my children with us and felt like the home was great for our whole family. I would highly recommend this home.

  This place was just what we needed, a beautiful, spacious house with amazing views in relaxing environment! The amount of wildlife that we saw was incredible; macaws, toucans, monkeys, etc. The rooftop infinity pool is spectacular, the panoramic views go on forever from the rain forrest to ocean. The beach at the bottom of the hill near the house is a beautiful white sand beach which we saw no other beach like this while in Costa Rica, looks just like a postcard!

  Outstanding location and view. Very good place, but sloppy management with little things missing which we did not expect from a high end rental -- dishwasher broken, AC broken, kitchen not equipped. Overall poor property management. Note that this place is not children friendly and is more appropriate for a party house.

  Owner response: I'm glad you like the place but I'm sorry about the dishwasher and the AC unit being broken. They have been replaced with new working appliances. We will work with the management of the house so they can be more helpful with future guests. We appreciate your feedback so we can improve our ability to please most of our guests. I have 4 and 7 year old and they love the house.

  Thank you again Eric the house Was amazing our family had a great time .What a view the best costa rica has to offer and punta Leona has it all . We all had a great time.

  House was poorly maintained,air condition was not working,water back up in the kitchen sink and bathrooms.House keeper never show up,overall bad exprience.Never recomend to anyone.

  Owner response: Bob, I'm sorry that the house was not perfect for your stay. It is a third world country and the electricity and water do go out once in a while but returns in a few hours. It is an inconvenience but not that bad considering all of your beautiful surroundings. In the future, I will also think twice about renting to a group of 9 adult males. Our housekeepers were not very happy upon your departure. We did return your full deposit because we felt bad that your stay was not perfect.

  If you want to get away from everything and relax this is the home for you. Sit up on the pool deck and watch the macaws fly by while enjoying the panoramic view. The resort is great for the kids...miniature golf, paintball, pools, and other activities to keep them busy. Punta Blanca beach is great for relaxing on the beach or you can rent paddle boats, kayaks, or paddle boards and cruise the Pacific. Great house I would recommend.

  We just had the pleasure of staying at this amazing Costa Rican house. It's modern architecture is right out of dwell magazine and it sits on top of a hill sorounded by the beautiful ocean. There is a pool or jacuzzi on every floor including the roof. We enjoyed watching the amazing sunsets every night and exotic bird watching every day. The beach down the hill was better than the ones promoted as must see in the guidebooks. I would highly recommend this house!

  The views are unbelievable at this beautiful house. The house is well equipped and comfortable for families and adults alike. The rooftop pool is a social centerpiece to the house and the rocking chairs on the balcony off the living areas are the perfect spot to relax. The private beach at the bottom of the hill was great and had a casual restaurant and bar with great ceviche and cold beer. Monkeys, macaws, lizards and butterflies were everywhere. We will be back with friends soon.
