"Duck King Inn" Our home away from home, is in the heart of the beautiful Town of Duck, it is a very easy walk to beach and Duck shops, and restaurants. 5 bedroom with 4.5 baths= 3 King Suites, 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 double bunkbed room (4 twins), WIFI High Speed Internet, home office (computer), Eagles nest reading area, private HEATED pool, 7 person hot tub, game room with wet bar, fridge, billiard and foosball tables, Family room with TV/DVD/VCR/Stereo, all bedrooms with cable TV and flat screens, also the convenience of sheets and towels provided ALL YEAR around!
The HEATED pool (36' X 16') is available from 4/16/11 to 10/30/11 (weather permitting), there is a gazebo adjacent to the pool to enjoy outdoor picnics. Our home is a 5 minute walk to some of the best shops and restaurants offered in the Outer Banks. Duck King Inn offers extraordinary design, upscale furnishings, and high end interiors.
1st Floor (1 King bedroom, 1 full bath, rec room, 1 Full pull-out bed in rec room): king master bedroom with full size crib and adjoining full bath. Recreation room with Fooseball and pool tables, 42" plasma and pull out Full-size bed, wet bar with full size fridge and ice maker.
2nd Floor (3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1 walk-in Laundry room): The mid level features a King master bedroom w private bath with walk-out deck, a Queen bedroom with walk-out deck, a bedroom with two bunk beds, a Full-size walk-in laundry room, and a hallway full bathroom.
2.5 Floor: There is a 1/2 bath between middle & top floors.
3rd Floor: The top level has a Master California King bedroom with a full bathroom, dining room, fully stocked kitchen with bar and Family room with 50" Plasma with DVD/VCR/CD/Stereo. In the family room there is an oversized sofa chair with a twin pull-out bed.
4th Floor: Shipps Watch loft area with book library, and sofa for relaxation!
Water Sports, Restaurants, & Upscale Shopping within very short walking distance.
Walk to see the sunrise on the Atlantic in the morning then short walk to see the sunset in the evening on the sound, both unforgettable!!

We went in the beginning of October to Duck, NC. I fell in love with the area and this house! My Husband and I went with out 3 and 4 year old, my Father, my In-Laws and 1 year old nephew. We had so much room to enjoy the house was immaculate, easy for the kids to play and spread out. My kids loved the pirate bed room, we loved all the suites. The heated pool was amazing, we spent many afternoons after playing on the beach outside in the water. We had such a wonderful time, I recommend it to everyone and anyone!!!

We spend a wonderful week in this house. It is very well maintained, has lots of rooms, and has everything you need and even more. It is close to the beach. We loved most the heated pool and the hot tub. The owner is very well prepared to provide information and she really cares for the house and for you. Everything was in place and prepared when we arrived. We loved it. We strongly recommend this place.

My husband, 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, 4 grandchildren and I just spent a fabulous week at the Duck King Inn. As soon as we returned home, the grandchildren were asking if we could return to the same house next year! Jay and Bridgett are fantastic and so responsive to questions and needs. The way the house is decorated is so cute and beachy! The proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. could not be better. You can bike or walk to everything you need in the town of Duck. You are justl a short drive to Kitty Hawk and Corolla. We definitely want to return to this house again in the future!!!

Our family numbered 10; all gathered to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. What a fantastic and memorable vacation it was. The kids loved the pool and game room and yet there was plenty of space for an individual to find a 'quite spot' if they wanted to do so. The house is built on higher ground so it has a superb sunrise view. It is located only a short distance from the ocean and town of Duck. The owners were friendly, helpful and efficient in their responses. This vacation home is well-equiped in every way and is all-around a great place to stay. We loved it.

We were in awe of the house and amentities included. The different themed rooms and artwork added so much. The owners were so pleasant to deal with and very fast to respond. The house was about 9 houses from the beach, and we literally were right in the town of duck. We could walk anywhere! The pool was clean, the hot tub was so relaxing. It stormed one night and the next morning the nice pool man came and cleaned the debris from the storm out. We couldn't have asked for better service. PLenty of cooking things provided, towels, and linens. Big, flat screen TVs in EVERY room! I didn't want to leave the house it was so nice. I will definitely stay here again in the future! I have stayed in Duck 6x over the past couple years, and this house by far is the best!

The location was great, a short walk to the beach or a short walk into Duck for some food/shopping/ice cream! The kids loved the pirate themed room they stayed in. Everyone enjoyed the pool and how well maintained everything seemed to be. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay at the OBX, our experience was fantastic!

Property is exactly as described, although interior of home is lovelier than the photos. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children. We had more than enough space. Baby equipment was so helpful. Bedrooms are excellent, very good mattresses, bright rooms, sturdy bunks. Kitchen very well equipped and easy to work in. Pool and Hot Tub were clean and excellent temperature, pool company stopped by to check it during our stay. Housekeeping also checked with us day after our check-in, making sure we had everything we needed. Nice touch. Cannot say enough about interactions with Bridgett and Jay. From our first inquiry on, they provided excellent "old fashioned" customer service. We will be giving them our repeat business. Our family vacation at the Duck King Inn offered us the comfort and relaxation that we hoped for. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed at this home with our 1 year old son (first vacation with him!). The house was great, and was a short wagon ride to the beach and to downtown! The owner was great on accomodating us and with answering all of my questions and concerns about traveling for the first time with a little one. Even while on vacation, she was quick to answer an email about heating the pool since it become a little cool while we were there. I would highly recommend this house. Thanks Duck King Inn for a memorable family vacation!!

We recently rented at Duck King Inn and had a wonderful vacation! The house has everything you could need for an enjoyable vacation. We had a couple of questions for the owners during our stay and they responded immediately to assist us. The location is wonderful! You can walk to the beach or to shops and restaurants. We have been coming to this house for years and thoroughly enjoy this house. It is in a great location - a very short walk to the beach - and has lots of space. The pool and hot tub are always well kept, as is the rest of the property. The owners are very responsive to inquiries and are clearly invested in making sure their renters have a pleasant experience. If we had the time, we would stay here for several weeks. We would highly reccomend this house!
