Great Camp 310, a Lake Champlain Great Camp, not a large camp, just a GREAT CAMP at 310 Dickson Point Rd, Plattsburgh,NY, located on New York's "ADIRONDACK COAST" of Lake Champlain. It is a single property (our family Camp since 1951)having 2 Rustic Guest yet luxurious cabins and the Main Camp which is owner occupied. The 2 Cabins may be rented as individual cabins or together as a single Camp. These quaint Rustic Style Cabins are located on Point AuRoche in one of the few places on Lake Champlain, in New York, where you can see the sunset over Lake Champlain from the Beach. We have been renting the Boathouse since it was converted from a boathouse in 1970 during times when family is not in resedence.
The Cabin is a One Bedroom, One Bath,"Rustic" Style Cabin which was remodeled in 2008 with new Queen Mattress, New Innerspring hide-a-bed, Capacity is 4, all new appliances, 2 Flat Screen LCD TV sets with DVD players, WiFi wirelss high speed internet, 2 Ceiling Fans, Heat and Air Conditioning,washer/dryer and Private Patio, and use of the beach, firepit and dock.
Your boat can be parked at our 124'Dock which is serviced from the Beach for free but should be trailered at night. The dock can hold one boat for each Cabin. The Dock has an 8' x 16' Deck with chairs on it at the far end over the Lake and is Wheelchair accesible.
The other cabin is our fully remodeled BOATHOUSE(this was a real Boathouse until the 1970's), It is a Rustic Cathedral Ceilinged One Bedroom Cabin with Queen Size Bed, 1 full hide-a-bed, Capacity is 4, 2 Ceiling fans,2 LCD TV's and DVD players, WiFi wireless high speed internet, Heat and Air Conditioning, Completly equipped kitchen, Full bath with shower, Covered deck and courtyard garden shared with the Main Camp, the boathouse is lake view with use of the beach, firepit and dock.
We also offer a Rustic bunkhouse with 2 aluminum camp cots at $15 per night to be available for
either Cabin on a first com first served basis. This is true rustic style camping and may be reserved with either the cabin or the boathouse for those additional guests.
There is a 16' Starcraft rowboat and a pedal boat for both the Cabin and the Boathouse to share, each has a gas grill.
There are plugins for 2 Bass boats, one for each cabins use.
Great Camp 310 is not a large resort, It is a place we have been coming to for over 55 years. It is a place we would like to share with you, It is a state of mind, It is the beauty of Monty's Bay and its sunset, It is a great place to sit, read, swim, boat, fish, talk and get reaquainted with family and friends. If you are looking for all the commercial pleasures, you will find those things near, but not here at Great Camp 310. Yes we do offer all the modern conveniences in both our Cabins, but that is not the main thing we offer.

We have an aluminum row boat at no extra cost. We have a 2500 pound capacity aluminum boat lift for use at $20 per night

Why the Owner Chose Plattsburgh
Our family has vacationed at this spot since 1951 when I was 6 years old. I have spent the best summers I could have had with my Husband, Parents, Aunts, Grandmothers, Cousins etc. This is the gathering place for our family at times during the summer. The Cottages were guest cottages that were used for years by us. We recently Remodeled them and have made them available for others to enjoy starting this year. We KNOW YOU will enjoy it too.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
You can fish from our Dock or enjoy 8' x 16' Deck over the Lake at the end of our Dock, swim in the lake, use our pedal boat, bicycle through Point a Roche State park in the Summer. We have room for you to dock your boat at no extra cost.
