Excellent accommodations for a relaxing vacation

This location was all we hoped for and more in our first time to rent in Fort Morgan. The owners accurately described the location, answered our questions and furnished every item we needed (cookware, dishes, towels, linens, TV/DVD, etc.) All really we had to bring was fishing gear, clothes and groceries. Luckily I brought the Ethernet cable for my laptop. Apartment and furniture are clean, new, comfortable, convenient, attractively decorated and well maintained. Beds slept well. AC works great. Bathrooms were bright, roomy and clean. Washer and dryer allowed us not have to take so many clothes and to return home without a load of dirties to wash. Recliners on the balcony are handy and view of the harbor is very restful. Elevator and carts made for easy unload and loading. The pool and hot tub were clean and never crowded. Parking under the building kept our vehicle shady and cool when we needed to use it. Pooper-scooper bags and a designated dog walk area are even provided by the condo if the owner allows pets. The Gulf beach access is a short walk/drive and most days (mid-July) there wasn't anyone on the beach within 100 yards of us; no oil on this beach either during our stay. The Navy Cove harbor was a great place for our 15 year old grandson to explore and he fished off the dock day and night, caught sheepshead, croakers, mullet and even a small ray on frozen shrimp. If we owned a larger boat we could have used the boat slip and fished Mobile Bay but alas we don't. Drove into Gulf Shores proper (~18 miles) a few times to our favorite restuarant, King Neptune's, and for provisions and beverages at Bruno's at the corner of 180 and Gulf Shores Parkway. Tacky Jack's 2 is just a hop and skip down the road and my wife said the garlic shrimp there was her favorite meal of the trip. Bought fresh jumbo shrimp to cook and more to take home at the Fresh Seafood Market on 180 at the Gulf Shores city limits. We were looking for relaxation, quiet and seclusion and this was a great stay for us.
