This is a Non-Smoking, recently remodeled, family, lakefront housekeeping cottage, new tongue and groove, knotty pine with cathedral ceiling, ceiling fans, new wall to wall carpet, the entire interior has be redone. One bedroom is on the main floor, the other is a loft. Enjoy the health benefits of the sulfur well water. For your cardiovascular health there are 50 steps down to the dock area.
The cottage is centrally located to many year round activities. In the summer enjoy the lake. One nearby location rents pontoon boats or enjoy our canoe or then again, bring your own boat. Enjoy Letchworth State Park (Grand Canyon of the east), Niagara Falls(60 miles away), Allegany State Park, Moss Lake (wildlife sanctuary), or the numerous acres of state land surrounding our area. There are endless golf courses in the area within a 10 to 30 minute drive. Darien Lake Six Flags is a 45 minute drive.
This cottage has easy access for winter use as well and is fully insulated. You can enjoy the many ski slopes (Holiday Valley, Kissing Bridge, Swain, Bristol Mountain, and Denton Hill) within a 45 minute drive. Also enjoy hunting on the many acres of state land surrounding Rushford.

Nov. - April..........$675/week.
May, June, Sept. Oct. $650/wk.
Nightly Rate .. $125/night 2 night minimum/$140 for single night stay
Cleaning fee will be assessed if cottage is not left in good condition.
Rates quoted are for 6 guests, over 6 is $15 extra per person, even if camping out
$100 deposit to hold reservation, balance due 2 weeks before arrival
Damage deposit $100, returned within 2 weeks after rental

Year Purchased: 1985
I grew up on a hobby farm in Rushford. Actually the same farm my father grew up at. I still enjoy the country and the peaceful quietness and hope you you find peace and enjoyment at Rushford Lake. I still live in Rushford and enjoy horsebackriding with my children.

The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Please be sure to visit Moss Lake(a natural bog) and Letchworth State Park. On a rainy day check Cuba Cheese or the antique shops in Angelica. Bring your golf clubs and utilize one of a dozen courses in the area.

Stayed at this cottage last November and loved it. The fireplace is wonderful!!! A great place to get away from the city life for some R&R. Clean and well maintained. Coming back again this year and looking forward to my stay:)
Recommended for:Tourists without a car.

Visited here over Valentines Day weekend and had a great time! The cottage is very nice...spacious and tactfully decorated. Fireplace was incredible and everything was pretty turnkey. Only complaints were that there wasn't an abundance of kindling so getting the fire started was a chore and the water has a pretty strong sulfur content. Very minor things though and I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The owner was great to work with as well. The area and views are incredible and I would love to make a another visit in the summer.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

If your looking for a clean, quiet cottage this is the one for you! My husband an I stayed here for our anniversary get away in October 08. It has 2 decks a huge stone fireplace, fire pit, and the paddle boats were awesome to take a spin around Rushford lake. Everything you will need is there, just pack your clothes and a toothbrush! Will sleep six very comfortably. The owner is more than helpful if you need ANYTHING. We also took a ride up to Letchworth to see the beautiful changing leaves. We just happened to find this cottage on the internet and it was a pleasant find!
