These are examples of comments visitors make when staying in this unit, a spacious 2nd floor studio with LANAI overlooking the pool with a 180 degree ocean view.
When you enter the front door, you will immediately walk out to the Lanai to take in the view and listen to the waves. You will be thinking, "This is perfect. This is why we came to Hawaii!"
The interior of the unit is designed to be COMFORTABLE, to enhance the view and to provide visitors with space to move around and to store their personnel items.
As ths visitor walks in the front door, there is a long, white kitchen counter on the left that continues to a desk area and a home entertainment cabinet with the TV/VCR/DVD units. The TV can be turned to either the bed or couch. Next is a sitting area.
The bathroom, which is on the right as visitors enter the unit, has the usual facilities plus a cabinet and drawers for storeage.
Beyond the bathroom, is the sleeping area with a CLOSET AND A SET OF DRAWERS ON EACH SIDE OF THE BED. There is tract lighting over the bed. After the sleeping area is a pull out couch, which is screened from the bed by a partial wall.
The unit has a tile floor and Hawaiian style furnishings. There is track lighting over the bed, couch and sitting area. This unit has both air conditioning and ceiling fans with lights.
There are no unobstructed views of the ocean from inside the unit!!
The Lanai has a round table with four chairs and a lounge chair. There is a ceiling fan with a light overhead. The Lanai is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning, having a romantic dinner while watching the sunset, entertaining and napping or as the owner calls it - "Whale watching."

Why the Owner Chose Kona Magic Sands
We bought our condo at Kona Magic Sands because of the romantic and relaxed feeling we got when we stepped out onto the large Lanai. There is nothing more peaceful than napping or entertaining on the Lanai as the sun sets or the dolphins and whales (in season) swim by. In the morning we can see tropical fish and the occasional turtle in the water from the Lanai. The condo is next to Magic Sands Beach (Hawaiian Name: La Aloa or Sacred Place) with its access to the ocean for clear, warm swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, body and boogey board surfing. Within 4 miles are other major surfing and snorkeling areas and beaches. To the South are the beautiful 36 hole Kona Country Club, open to the public; The Keauhou Shopping Center with a large grocery store, movie theaters, restaurants and drug store; Keauhou Bay with snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving excursions to unique areas South of the Bay and to the North is the village of Kailua-Kona with its many shops, restaurants, historical areas and activities for the traveler.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You will find KMS #203 to be a great place to sit back and relax. KMS sits between a beach to the South and a park on the North allowing you to chose from (1)going to the beach, (2)sitting by the complex pool that is right on the ocean with its large grass area and views from the sea wall, (3)enjoying the shade of the palm trees and grass at the adjacent park with its small ocean entry; or (4)taking advantage of the covered Lanai with its ocean views and trade wind breezes. There is a popular restaurant on the premise serving lunch Monday-Friday and dinner daily. The unit is non-smoking both inside and on the Lanai. There is no smoking by the pool or in any of the common areas. There is much to see and do on the Big Island but when it is time to relax and take life easy, unit #203 is the perfect place.

My wife and I are retired and live in Kailua-Kona. We have been coming to the Big Island since 1987. We enjoy the great weather, beautiful clear warm water, the year round outdoor activities, the excellent small beaches, the variety of terrain and weather, and, of course, our many friends.
