  Beautiful home. We married in Mentone and we come back every year for our anniversary. 6th year now. We have stayed in several different places but think we have found the "ONE" from now on. Great place to reconnect and leave behind all the worries of everyday life. We hate to leave.

  We all aloved the cabin and the peacefulness. My husand and I are from Fort Lauderdale, Fl and his uncle from St. Louis, Mo meet here and we all had a marvelous time. The privacy was wonderful and we certainly will think of Hawk's Nest Hideaway again when we return. Your property manager was very helpful and we appreciate that the home was so clean and tidy. Thanks to all of you.

  this beautiful house. Loved the hot tub and the decor. We will def. be back. Went to Rock City and Lookout Mountain, which was breathtaking. A wonderful getaway with my husband. Nice to get away from the every day rush and it was a nice short drive too.

  We loved it. It is beautiful. The creek and pond are nice places to go and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Thanks so much for letting us stay here. A great place to come back to after a long hot day of junking. PS: It was nice and clean which is hard to find. THANK YOU

  We love it here, it is so relaxing. It is decorated beautifully. We love the ease of walking across the street to fish the pond. Loved relaxing in the hot tub and looking at the stars. Thank you so much, this will be a very memorable anniversary.

  This cabin made for a perfect retreat from work. Isolation, and quiet. I loved every minute of my stay. The Mentone area has welcoming and friendly people. There is so mch to do within a short drive. This is a perfect "home base". Having the stream was really nice. Sitting there was so peaceful. I liked the decor, nice to not have bears and rustic but attractive luxury feel in the midst of nature. I reserved the cabin last minute but if I had shopped for weeks I don't think I would have done any better, it was perfect.

  We enjoyed our stay this week. The home was lovely and the weather turned out to be beautiful. The scenery in DeSoto State Park and the Canyon was breathtaking.

  We really enjoyed our stay here this Labor Day. The house was so peaceful and quite and the weather has been wonderful. It got cool enough last night to build a fire in the back yard. It was great to relax with the family. Not looking forward to going home tomorrow.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation Policy: A full refund if canceled 14 days prior to check in date. We understand that life brings circumstances, in such cases a cancellation within the 14 day time frame could be moved to another date instead of forfeiture. No Smoking Inside: If there is evidence of smoking inside there will be an additional cleaning fee charged to your credit card. Smoking is permited outside and ashtrays provided. All butts should be in the ashtrays or the garbage cans, not the yard. No Pets Policy: We do not allow pets of any kind. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction, no refund and an extra cleaning fee charged to your credit card. Hot Tub Policy: The hot tub is drained and cleaned for each rental. There are certain risk associated with using the hot tub. Some people are sensitive to the bromine used to keep the hot tub clean. Please shower prior to use to remove lotions, perfumes, ect. Do not wear jewlery while in the hot tub. You assume use of the hot tub at your own risk. The hot tub is set to a default temperatuer of 100. If there was a prior guest to your arrival it may not have reached this temperature until after your arrival. Please keep the hot tub cover on when not in use. The temperature will be maintained with the cover on. DO NOT SIT ON HOT TUB COVER. It will break. If damaged your credit card will be charged. Maintenance Policy: Unfortunately, from time to time appliances, air conditioners, TV's, Hot Tubs malfunction. We do a check prior to each check in for any potential problems, however, we can not guarantee that there will not be a problem from time to time. If there is a problem we will work to resolve the problem during normal business hours. We do not offer an "inconvience refund" due to any maintenance issue. Please contact us if there are any issues so they can be resolved in a timely fashion. Hold Harmless Policy: You agree to hold us harmless from any and all bodily injury and/or personally property damage incurred. Our mountain environment can be extreme and unforgiving. Please exercise caution, be respectful and respectful of our natural setting and of others who visit it.
