Tahoe Donner is also renowned for its cross country skiing.

Summertime: warm summer weather makes it perfect for any of the following: swimming, tennis, golf, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, cycling, hot air ballooning, water skiing, kayaking... the list never ends. Access to the incredible Tahoe Donner recreation centers, just a short walk or bike ride away, provides access to world class facilities, with heated swimming pools, hot spas, gyms, a huge tennis center, equestrian center, and a lot more. Winter time: close access to great ski resorts, Tahoe Donner is right there, and Sugar Bowl is right next door, plus easy access to Squaw Valley, Northstar, and numerous other North Lake Tahoe ski resorts. Plus, the Tahoe Donner Rec Center provides a heated indoor and OUTDOOR swimming pool (imagine that!) and fitness center that operates year round.
