My wife, our daughter, and myself enjoyed a wonderful week here in Manset. The cottage is quiet, clean, and exceptional. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, it is even more beautiful in person. The grounds are wonderful and the setting is idealistic. The cottage is in the heart of Acadia National Park, it is a great location. There are many wonderful amenities - we will be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Thanks, Jim and Michelle, for your review. We enjoyed having you and will continue to work on improving our pictures. Things are winding down and the beautiful fall colors will soon be gone. Hoping you all will return some day soon. Jennie & Andy

Even with very poor weather conditions I still had a wonderful time in my quaint, comfy cottage. Everything you could need or want was there for you. The quiet, peaceful setting and comfortable, cozy cottage is all you need and is only complemented by the beautiful Maine coastline and community. Would highly recommend!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We have had the BEST vacation! Spruce Cottage is so cozy and serene. We really appreciate your help in providing a high chair and 2 pack 'n plays for our 2 little ones. It's tough to travel with a 2.5 yr. old and 10 mos. old. Thanks for the great accommodations and making our travels much easier. We can go back to the city refreshed and hope to come back. Thanks for everything.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Thanks so much for making your beautiful place available to us. We had a great (but too short) stay. The cabin was awesome...best stocked rental house we've ever seen. We also loved the water-fall-like pressure in the bathroom! We will have to come back another time... three days was definitely not enough! Went to Bar Harbor twice, great little town. The Sand Bar cool even in the fog. Carriage roads were gorgeous. Didn't get to see Thunderhole for real, but we'll be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Like everyone else who stayed here, I dreaded having to leave. The cottage is wonderful and the little 'touches' you provided made the place seem more like a home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
