After reading the other reviews, we knew we had to stay at the Hummingbird. One reviewer said that they loved the house so much that they starting to eat in. We too started to eat in more and more. We could not stand to be away from this beautiful house another moment. Every night we would sit on the terrace and stare at the distance - the mountains, the trees, the sky, the sunsets. In every direction, our eyes had something of beauty on which to feast. My dad was enthralled by the visiting hummingbirds. One night we experienced the most spectacular thunderstorm. What a show! The location was more convenient than we had anticipated. It was a quick downhill walk to Canyon Road. Another 3 minute drive to the plaza. Shopping was under 10 minutes away. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. I have already recommended this home and the Two Casitas website to many friends.

Manager response: Wow Isabel! Thanks so much for the glowing review. It makes me so happy to know that our homes help create an environment for people to gather and have an enchanting vacation. Two Casitas has been in business for 15 years. I have to say in these changing times I owe that duration to guest like who you who come back year after year and tell their family and friends about us. I just opened this up this morning, your taking the time to sit down and write up a review will inspire my day helping people determine if we have a good house for them in the sea of homes offered on VRBO that much more enjoyable.See you in Santa Fe!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing house. The outdoor patio was our favorite spot to enjoy the beautiful weather and views. The house was immaculate and comfortable for our family. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay! We will definitely love to stay here again!

This is a wonderful home with stunning views of the mountains in both the East and the West. It is immaculately maintained and has all amenities provided for a great stay! The bathroom is HUGE and fabulous! The fireplaces are delightful. There is a wonderful deck with barbecue included. The home is close to everything, and walking is a treat. The owners left explicit instructions on the operation of the various amenities. Very considerate! Sugestions regarding local restaurants were much appreciated, although we thought the house so fabulous that we did not want to waste our time elsewhere. We ordered in and had our drinks and dinners in front of the fireplace! During past visits we have eaten at Santacafe, and it was very good. Try the Chipotle Cesar Salad followed by the poblano pepper stuffed with quinoa! Maria's is good for the tamales and the Tequila/Mescal flights, but the staff are not very welcoming, so we have decided to forget the place! The Santa Fe Baking Company & Cafe has stupendous breakfast burritos! Atractions: the area where the home is located has great ambience. But we have also been out to Abiquiu, signing up for the small private tour. Call the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. On other trips we've taken the High Road to Taos for some exceptional scenery! Avoid eating at Chimayo, though. Tourist Central! There are some really fun, accessible hikes right out of Santa Fe. One begins at near St. John's College, another at Upper Canyon Road. One last word: the agent for this property is super! It is a pleasure doing business with her!

Manager response: Thank you Linda, I am so happy that you had such a fabulous time at our Hummingbird House. Yes, I agree with you the views are stunning and the Master bath is gorgeous, along with the fireplaces in the living room and Master bedroom are very lovely. What great finds you found. Some of Santa Fe's best restaurants and Musuems.I so appreciate you taking the time to write such a glowing review! time.
What a wonderful time we had staying at this beautiful house, we even got snow in town. The view from the front porch and patio is great, you are surrounded by mountains all around and best of all it was so nice and quiet which all makes for a relaxing vacation. We brought our kids who are 2,4 and 6 years old. They got to play on the front porch area without much supervision. The house is tucked in a very quiet street and the whole week we never saw a car drive by. By car we were just 5 minutes from 475 which takes you up to Ski Santa Fe (35 minutes up hill) and 5 minutes from Whole Foods where we did all our shopping. When traveling with a family it's good to have everything close by but we also wanted to be secluded enough to "feel" like we were away from it all. This place really is a great location. Inside the house was clean and we found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Wendy is a fabulous owner and I have never dealt with anybody who was more prompt at replying to email. All my questions were answered promptly and renting, getting in and out of the house was a much too easy process. We appreciate all Wendy does and hope to be back soon.

Manager response: Hi Salome, I am so flattered by your wonderful words about me and the Hummingbird house you so enjoyed. You described the property perfectly. It is a great family house with all the 2,200 sq foot space. We had so little snow this year,I am glad you were here when we got some and got some fresh now to ski.The kids lessons up at the ski basin are so good. Hope you got to take advantage of that. So yes peace quite views. You do not have to be 2 blocks to the Plaza to enjoy Santa Fe (this house is 1 1/2 miles form the Plaza)thanks again for the review! Hope to see you again sometime soon.Wendy
Our stay at the Hummingbird house was wonderful. We were 4 adults (a couple and 2 singles) and there was space and privacy for everyone. We love Santa Fe in the winter, and this house was warm and inviting, with lots of amenities- 2 fireplaces, a huge soaking tub, and a steam shower. The house is beautifully decorated with a great kitchen that is very well equipped. We were treated to snow on our last day, and having a glass of wine by the roaring fireplace that evening made it hard to leave!
