  We highly recommend the Alpen Den in Glenwood Springs! The unit was very clean, well maintained, and had every amenity we wanted. It was warm, well appointed and lived beyond what the photos indicated. The owners live above this condo which gave this grandmother and 2 grandchildren a certain secure feeling. Above all though, there was a sweet spirit about the property which must have come from the owners and their spirits. We hope to visit again in the summer and enjoy the river, patio and b'que.

  We stayed here recently and found the rental to be great. We were greeted with a nice loaf of Blueberry Zucchini bread that was also amazing. The owners left us alone but were also very attentive to any additional requests. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in or around Glenwood.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers.

  Rented this cute little condo for a girls' weekend- it was perfect! Very clean and cozy. :) Michelle even had a loaf of zucchini bread and bottle of wine waiting for us (very sweet and thoughtful). Especially loved the very clean, cheerful bathroom. We would definitely come back.

  The Alpen Den exceeded our expectations for sure! Everything that was said to be provided was and then some! Not to mention being welcomed with a homemade loaf of blueberry-zucchini bread! That in a nutshell tells you that the owners are friendly and truly care. It was a very clean, comfortable and cozy space. I would highly recommend this rental to our family and friends or anyone for that matter. Our pets were allowed to come with us, and that was a huge convenience. As many pet-owners know, it is hard to come by places that are animal-friendly. The rental was close to town and easy to find as well. The scenery was beautiful, and even though we didn't partake in any of the outdoor activities that were provided, we enjoyed our stay just as much as if we would have. We will for sure be returning in the future! Thank You Matt & Michelle. :)

  My husband, 2 children (2 and 5) and my mother really enjoyed our stay the the Alpen Den. Everything was clean and neat and decorated with love. We had everything we needed, plenty of towels for the Hot Springs, everything that you could need in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the patio and outdoor area. Our kids loved collecting acorns, watching the squirrels and just running around. Too bad we could not hear (or see) the creek because of the dry weather there was no water left. Owners were very friendly, helpful and approachable. We would definetely recommend this place and hopefully will be back.

  We had such a wonderful time in Glenwood Springs, and at this lovely cabin. The owners were super to us and have everything we needed (except a disposer and washer/dryer). We survived without them and still had a wonderful time!!! We look forward to going to back to this area and having more time to explore/hike and sightsee.

  Awesome little getaway tucked in the woods. We were so glad we stayed here on our little family vacation. Very clean and spacious, special little details, peaceful deck with great grill to use. We loved it!

  The Alpen Den was just perfect for a "workation". Nice and quiet, great internet connection and everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. I'll be back!

  We loved staying at the Alpen Den over our annual spring break ski vacation. The accommodations were very nice. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and the little touches of home, like cookies and wine, were greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet spot that is isolated, but not too far off of the beaten path. The perfect balance.

  My husband and I needed a little get away vacation and we stayed at The Alpen Den. It was just what we wanted a peaceful, quite, and fun vacation. This location is close enough to the slopes of Sunlight Resort and Glenwood Springs that you can enjoy the this wonderful location has to offer.
